pysch evaluation completed...one more step closer to my goal!

Well I completed my 3 hr pysch evaluation today....was anyone elses so long....I had to take a 700 question personality test....then talk with the dr. then take a IQ test....and then talk with the dr again and he wouldn't even tell me what he will tell the bariatric center!!! I'm sure I passed but still....I have to keep reminding myself to not get too annoyed at all this jumping thru the hoops.....I will get to that O/R room I will get my goal.....breathe...just breathe.....okay I vented a bit....this is a great website! kim

Hi, Kim - coming out of lurk mode. Who's your doctor? I had to go to 3 - 1 hour psych visits and didn't have to take any kind of tests. I'm completing my last "requirement" tomorrow and then everything will be sent off to insurance.

Hi Kim, Wow you went thru a lot. I sat and talked about fishing most of my 45 minutes of mine and never took a test of any kind. I am sure you will be fine. You are smart enough you know you need to have this done!wish you the best. Julia

Kim, I don't want to be a killjoy, but there will be more hoops! LOL! But it is ok...it is just part of the process. I was so excited to finally get approved and a date for surgery and then they said, OOPS! You need a cat scan on youir lungs before you can proceed. EEEEEKKKKK! But it is all in God's timing. My pysch eval was about 30 minutes to an hour long and it was mainly just talking...nothing else. Who is your doctor? Of course I had the 6 months of diet and exercise thing to go thru for my insurance company..so there is always something. Good luck and hang in there. Sugar
