Motels/Hotels in Sedalia that are....

I'm looking for Motels/Hotels in Sedalia that are reasonable, clean and are close to the hospital! I can't do the Comfort Inn. I had a friend from church drown in their pool. Him and his daughters were down there for a soccer match. They had all gone down to the pool and were playing. No one knows what happened. Alex was a very healthy young man. One of his girls found him! It looks like a nice place but I just couldn't do it....well, geez didn't mean to go into it that far. Anway, you get the point but all others are good! Thanks All! Deb M

Hey Deb, Susan and I stayed at the Sunset Motel in sedalia. Its a small motel and cheap, I think we paid like $35 a night for a king size bed. It doesnt look like much on the outside but it's clean, the room was very clean and neat. The service was good. It's about 2 miles from Bothwell Hospital. We couldnt afford much and looked into a few cheap ones and that one was the best we could find for the price, it was very clean tho. Also on my one month check up we stayed one night at the Best Western State Fair, its about $55 a night and is very nice. Deb the Best Western State Fair which is also on Limit St. does have an indoor pool and hot tub. Jan, Joe Susan, Brenda and I all sat in that tub...soooooooooo relaxing. It's a real nice indoor pool. The sunset has no pool at all. Andrew

Oh Deb, I don't think I could stay there either; what a terrible thing to happen. I don't know any hotels in Sedalia, but when we travel, I always try to stay in a Holiday Inn or Drury. Both chains keep the hotels and room very clean and not "run down" looking. Sometimes the room rate is negotiable, check internet rates, AAA, call hotel directly, etc. This time of year, they are looking for guests. Hope you are feeling ok. Good luck. ~Diana~
