I HAVE A DATE!!!!

Well, I do if everything checks out alright. They gave me a date of March 7th on Thursday but when I got home on Friday there was a message that they had found a spot on my lung in the pre-op xray and I have to go have a CT scan to further investigate. So please pray for me that they find nothing. I am scared because I used to smoke some 13 years ago. But I also used to have phnemonia alot and maybe it is just scar tissue. Of course by the time I had made it home on Friday my pcp's office was already closed so I will have to wait until Monday to have her schedule that test for me. PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY for me..would you? Thanks to all..Sugar (And yes I know I haven't been on in a long while)

Hey there Sugar, Just wondering...since you are from Clever are you having your surg in Sfld? Dr. Edwards? I have my appt Tues with him and wondered how far out he was scheduled. I work in the Nixa Clinic in the CT dept as their nurse. Maybe we will meet. If you use St John's that is. Good luck, you're in my thoughts and prayers. Tara

Hi Tara, nice to meet you. No I will have to go to St Louis for surgery because St Johns in Springfield have still to get their COE. I am using Dr da le tora at DePaul hospital. They are a great bunch of people up there. I didnt know Nixa clinic had a CT dept. My dr always sends me to springfield for everything but I guess I could request Nixa. So are you in the beginning of this wonderful journey? Good luck! It takes some stamina but is well worth it from what everyone says. I can't wait to be on the losers team! Hi Sugar: It's Cathy. Prayers are with you. I haven't heard anything from my preop, so I guess everything is still a go for me. It won't be long and you and I can start shrinking with the rest of them. Keep in touch. Cathy
