Post Op internal Hematoma

I had a CAT scan on friday and the doc determined I had a hematoma the size of my fist inside my abdomen just below my stomach. Has anybody had one of these? If so what happened with it? Did they go in and remove it? Did it infected? Can you give me some idea as to the different options as to what can or might happen. Thanks so very much for anybody's answers...good or bad...I really need info. Sarah
