Hi Stacy my name is Gretta and I am kindof new myself. I guess I have been on here for about a month. The ppl here are super nice and so friendly. When I was bran new I asked so many questions. I am scheduled to have surgery on the 11th of January. I keep going through different emotions. For five minutes I will be totally stoked to get this operation and then five mins later I am scared to death. I dont know I wish I could just get it over with. You have come to the right place. The people on this board are the greatest. I had my surgery Tuesday, 12/26, and I know there were tons of people praying and thinking of me. Stacy, Welcome to our family. I know you will find that this board is extremely supportive and helpful. Ask lots of questions ,comb though profiles and browse before and after pictures. Soak up all of the information you can. There is a lap band forum where you can get lots of information as well but make sure you look at all of the surgery forums. Ok Stacy, you asked for some friends and now you have them!!! This is the most tremendous board, you couldn't ask for more support anywhere. But I guess that is just because we folks from MO are just that good, aren't we??? Check in often, there is a lot of activity here. Someone is always on it and will answer any questions you have.
