Well the holidays are gone for another year. We had a lovely day with our family . Lots of talking and enjoyment. My oldest daughter has a new grandmothers book with all sorts of questions in it about things that happen in your life and it caused a lot of memories to be brought up by everyone. That was a lot of fun. I probably ate more than I usually do but even at that it wasn't much. My brother made a sugar free pie for me that was so good. A custard type pecan pie. Oh man it was good but of course the tiny sliver I took out of it didn't make a dent . when others discovered it they didn't believe it was sugar free. Lol I received lots of pretties and thoughtful gifts. My little great niece was a joy to me as always. And her mother who is expecting her second child is so pretty and glowing and big from being only a month away from delivery. Please remember Lana this morning as she goes into surgery. I will let post when her daughter calls me later today. Pray for her. \\ There isn't any thing to recap today since no one really posted except to say Merry Christmas but I hope each and everyone of you had a wonderful day with family or friends and I was all you wanted it to be. I saw that some of you did get some snow yesterday. I bet that was pretty . All we got was cold and wind yesterday and this morning it is only 25 degrees. Brrrrrrrrr. Well will go and get this posted . Need to do some house straightening and cleaning. And wait for Lanas daughter to call me. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Good morning Jan I am soooooo tired but Christmas was so beautiful. I cooked again and everything turned out really good (I haven't lost my touch) but I guarantee the food is healthier than my folks know, no sugar but splenda now. We had a great time and not really much to tell. I got up running yesterday and never found time to post so I pray everyone had a great and Merry Christmas. Stay warm today and God bless, has anyone heard from Treece? Keeping Lana in my prayers. Barbara T.

Hi all. Just hanging out at work without much to do today. Lana, if you read this, just want to wish you well. Hang in there lady. After you reach the two week point, you may feel good as new. I had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family and my husbands too. Nothing like watching two 18 month old boys open toys (my second-nephews). Lots of wide eyes and mouths open in awe. Little children just make Christmas, don't they? I was blessed as well. My husband found my favorite DVD of all time, The Thorn Birds. It is a 4 disc set, eight hours worth!! Along with some other things, he got me a Willow Tree figurine called "Together", I cried when I saw what he had inscribed on it. My children seemed happy with the things they received, and didn't want for anything this year. With the exception of a job for my son-in-law since he got laid off........ I can't express my appreciation to Craig for his christmas devotion. Craig, I swear God made you a messenger just for me. Jan, I would like that pecan pie recipe too. I don't want to bring anyone down, but I sent an email to the OH staff to see what was needed to put someone on the Bereavement Page. If the family would like to have Marilyn listed, OH needs to hear from them. I don't know Marilyn's family, and especially don't want to overstep. Would someone that is close to them want to ask? Ok, back to work for now, breaktime is over. See how addicted to this website I am? ~Diana~

Hey ya'll, Sure hope everyone had a niceee Christmas!! Ours was good, kinda quiet after we got home from visiting the FIL but quiet is good. We sat down and sorta planned out our gardens this year. We're real excited about planting flowers and veggies. We have several things of veggies we want to plant, prolly gonna have veggies comin out our ears lol. The landlord here saw us lookin at the piece of ground we're gonna plant the veggies and came over and talked with us, he said when we are ready he'd get his tractor and till it all up so thats goood. We walked around and also kind of planned out where we want to plant flowers, Im hoping to be able to get a few bushes also, if things work out like we want, we'll have a fairly nice lookin yard next year. Today was kind of a lazy day, didnt do much at all. Tomorrow we have a few things to do so it'll be kinda busy for a bit. Well I hope ya'll are enjoying the holidays, have a great night. Andrew
