WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY
Good Morning everyone and Merry Christmas to all.
I have been really busy this past week and now today and tomorrow I am really rushed to get downe. We are so blessed in having all our kids come home for this week. Yes I said all of them. 6 children from 5 different states and families will descend upon the Swan house starting Christmas day and some will be here for 3 days and some will remain until Monday. I figure we will be having 22 or so for supper on tuesday, wednesday and thursday. Oh so much fun!!! So since I worked yesterday, I still have gifts to wrap and cookies to finish and some cleaning and groceries. But I will make it. Just wanted to wish everyone Gods blessings and remember why we celebrated Christmas. Have fun, Colette
Hello and HO HO HO,
So good to hear from everyone. Glad you're all having wonderful Christmases. We took the two kids that were here to Silver Dollar City last night. It was really cold but the lights were astonishing and they enjoyed it and they're not easy to please. John and his DD went to the mall this AM to get her presents from her dad. They do this every year. And his DS went to get more shopping done so I'm home alone and loving it. Stacy and Adam are on their way down from North Missouri and will be here before dinner and John's younger son is flying in this evening so we'll all be together tonight, I'm feeding them chili.
I am really looking forward to Tuesday and surgery. I know it sounds silly but I can hardly wait. No fear yet. But maybe I'm not smart enough to be afraid!!! Anyway, I know all of you will be covering me in prayer and that's just what I need always.

Yes, I know I am early but I am going to be headed out of town today. I got Jan's message yesterday and spoke with Rachael this morning. Everything is going pretty good. I am down to the weight I was just a little bit lower then before surgery. So YEA all the fluid is off of me. I am still on my blood thinners and will be for 6 to 8 more months. I broke out in this rash like on Tuesday and by Thursday when it was no better I went to my PCP. He told me to stop the Keflex thinking I was having a reaction from it. Gave me a shot of steriods and a script for steriods for 5 days. Well last night I jumped into the shower and when I got out I was covered in this rash worse then when I seen my PCP on Thursday. I have no idea what is going on with my body. It really doesnt like me right now. Every step foward feels like 5 steps backwards. I am actually felling good and getting around. Baked for 3 days for my family and the neighborhood for Christmas. If I could just get this itching too stop. I go back and see my PCP next week. I stopped taken the steriods thinking I was having a reaction to them. So I am just going to have to rought it for a few days. We are leaveing to go to my parents house this afternoon. But I will be back on Tuesday. Sorry I havent ben around. I just dont want to be the one that come on here and gripes and moans. I love you all and pray you all have a blessed Christmas!!!!!
