WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY.

Thursday and just 4 days till Christmas and 5 till Lanas surgery , 6 to Glendas and Today is Treece's surgery . Everyone keep her in prayer that she will be fine and come thru well. She is an awesome lady. Well I still havnet come down from all the excitement from the meeting Monday night then our supper in Sedalia on Tuesday. Im still going full blast. Hyperactivety you know lol I have had so many compliments in the last few days that I feel like my head is going to pop. Lol Thanks all I really appreciate them , makes me feel really good. As it does anyone. I still cant see that much difference in daily life until I see pictures. Then I notice a difference . My daughters I talk to them almost daily but neither have seen me for 3 months. Hopefully they will think I look different on Christmas when they come down. We stopped at Wal-mart yesterday before getting home to get me some B-complex vits to maybe help out with energy and all. I hope so. I am hyper but still don't have as much energy as I think I should have. That is too different things. Mainly I think I run my mouth too much lol Oh before I forget tomorrow is also Valerie Haddox surgery too. She is fairly new to the site too. Good luck Valerie. Gretta: isn't that weird that we can all feel so close and having never met each other before. There is so much difference in all of us and in ages but still we feel like family. I hope you feel a little more comfortable about the surgery now. And that Dr. H . will answer all questions you might have for him. Let us know how you feel after the talk with Dr. Barbara T: well is there not anyone that could be counted on picking up grandson if case need be? Like a pastor or friend? Andrew says he will come back to this area to visit with everyone again even tho he doesn't have an appointment on June 19th. What time did you say your appointment is? 1PM mine is 1:30 think Brendas is 1:15 so will be neat. Diana H: how beautiful you look in your last picture and not only pounds have you lost but probably about 15 years in looks too. You are doing wonderful . Be sure and post often. Julia: was so good to meet ou too. Im so glad you came and brought your lovely granddaughters. Wish I still had the pep and energy they had don't you? You did pretty good on putting names on the pictures all except one. When you called Linda by the wrong name. Andrew: It rained on all of us I guess going home yesterday. Yes you and Susan will have to come back to visit when the flowers are all in bloom more. Ok? I drive from the sticks to our support group and it takes awhile to get there but would drive futher if I had too. Just to go to the COF meeting. We really do have good ones. Was so good to meet you too, and was so neat to have you come and stay in the Cooks Bed and Breakfast even tho you sort of got cheated in the breakfast part. Lol Dannielle: thanks for the complimets. Wish you could have been with us. We really had a blast. How is your leg doing? Vesta: I have had the Clippings soaking in some root stimulator for a couple of days , so guess I will put some potting soil I a container and let it them get more roots' Yes we had a ball on the trip. Good morning Jan and MO Board I'm up, for some reason I couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I would come in and read a bit thinking maybe that will make me sleepy again. I've already talked to the Lord this morning, and asked blessings for all His children Think I will write on my book for awhile after I post this, yes my appointment is at 1:00 PM. CONGRATS! going out to all those having their surgeries today, it's amazing the people at my church are just astonished at how I look and I'm going to either have to have my clothes taken up or buy new ones, trying to weigh the cost of alterations vs buying new Still looking for a job and that is frustrating, thinking about working from home, going to school to work on my Theology degree, no wonder I can't sleep I have too much on my mind Anyway everyone have a beautiful day and I'm praying that we don't get any of Denver's snow God bless! Good morning Missouri..... Sounds like everyone had a good time in the last couple days....it is always nice to be able to put a face with the typist......lol....hopefully I will be able to make it to a support meeting next month with my sister....we need a night away together.... Wow what an exciting week for all of us......lots of surgeries and Christmas all in the same time frame.....exciting to know that some will be starting a new life at the same time that Christ was born.....God is so good and worthy to be praised..... I have gotten many cards from everyone and you all are not forgotten....we will be putting ours in the mailbox tomorrow.....I have been so busy in the last couple days....Yesterday was my son's Christmas brunch and gift exchange at school and just as I was leaving to go attend his party the day care called and said my daughter had pink eye....so I had to pick her up, run to Wally world and then to the house to pick up his teachers present and made it to the school in just the nick of time.....it was a very nice party and then I loaded up both kids and headed back to work for the rest of the afternoon.....so today I have both kids with me again because they will not let my daughter back in daycare until Friday because she has to be on antibiotic eye drops for 24 hours......so I have the good old pack and play set up by my desk and Jaiden is playing away....Dalton is sitting on a bench reading a book....and I myself is typing this post and then I will work on the paperwork of three new prior service members.....no rest for the weary.... How is Melissa? I called her the other day and then when she returned my call I couldn't talk to her...So Melissa if you read this today, give me a call on my cell..... I hope that everyone has a very blessed day......and may God keep each and everyone of you in his loving arms.... God bless Rachael

What a blessed time of the year. I love Christmas and all it stands for. Who can resist a baby in a manger? No one I hope!!! John will go up to Kansas City to pick up two of his kids at the airport at nine tonight so please pray for travelling mercies for him. I did my pre-registration yesterday and have PCP appointment this PM and then I'm good to go for Tuesday. I am feeling hungry quite a bit but know this is just because I'm pre-op and that I won't have that problem for a few months after Tuesday. I did get some sugar-free popcicles and they are great. I'm going to ask PCP about meds, talked to Dr. Edwards some about them and also the registration nurse, a real sweetie. She said to take heart rate, BP, Prilosec and Rheumatoid Arth meds before I come to the hospital Tuesday with the tiniest sip of water. I'm so excited, can hardly wait - Christmas Eve, Christmas and then surgery. Three of the most important events in my life coming up soon. Talk to you all later. Lana you are about there, my prayers are with you, I think all us pre ops seems self absorbed because that seems to be all I have on my mind...but soon we can help others like the post ops helps us, and they have been a blessing to me....Love ya ...God bless... oh yes I am hungry and not even on liquids yet.lol.....vesta

The one that looks like a weed thats in with the mums is beautiful little yellow flowers and it comes up ever year, I use to have them around my water fall, now they are just in my flower bed...Vesta

Good Morning, It was great to meet everyone tuesday night!!!!!!!! I had a wonderful time. Looking forward to getting together in June. By that time we can get a smaller room sorry just popped in my head!!!! It was a long 5 hour drive home with the rain and sooooooo many big trucks all I could think about was CONVOY, I guess they were all trying to get ahead of the storm. My granddaughter slept most of the way home so it was just me and the radio. I am so thankful that I am now officially half way to my goal weight!!!!!! It has been amazing getting clothes out of the closet that I haven't worn in years and now they are to big!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pictures at the dinner were great, I still look at myself and see a fat girl, because I still am, but I know I have come a long way. But I still have a long way to go. I just never have thought I took a good picture not very photogenic Andrew I was thinking about starting the support group meetings on the like the 2nd Monday night of January, hows does that sound to you? If you would like a different date that would be fine just let me know. Tressia would you be able to come? Maybe Sherr and Cathy could carpool every once in awhile, it' only 65 miles from Poplar Bluff, or if you wanted you could drive to my house and ride the rest of the way with me? Now I think I told most of you at the meeting that I'm a lurker and read all posts so don't talk bad about me cause I'll be reading!! just kidding!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh, time is running out for us on lots of things.... Val is in surgery now, I will post tonight after I talk with her husband. Treece is in there too. Lots of activity on the Missouri side of things right now. Want to wish Glenda and Lana well for their surgeries. Hugs and prayers for skilled surgeon's hands and attentive nurses. Bad news on the homefront. I was bragging on my daughter's success last week. I knew the other shoe had to drop for her because things were going so well. Her husband got laid off of his job. If you would be so inclined to mention Jake in your prayers, I would be so appreciative. He is having a rough time of it; feels like he can't support his family and is really depressed. Far to good a guy to have bad things happen. Want to wish everyone a blessed christmas. Enjoy your friends and family, and eat lightly!!! ~Diana~

Momma J & Company, I think you do not even LOOK like the same person. You need to change for pic on here Momma J. so we "know" who we are talking to...geezzzz.... LOL Went over to Mom's and made Pumkin Date Orange Bread, and Applie Pie Streudel Bread today.....for the parental units. Money is soooooo bad this year, and I wanted to do something special for them. My oven is older than I am in this house that I bought back in May, and it either burns everything ,or doesn't cook it right, so I took all the ingredients over to mom's and her house smelled soooo wonderful. I am pooped. Oh, and I am down to 204 today and my BMI is in the 31 range now...woot woot, Go Me! LOL Hope everyone is having a safe, good day. Love Sherr
