In need of a support group near Blue Springs, MO

My husband and I recently moved from Columbia to Pleasant Hill and I would love to attend a support group meeting. I used to go every month and have found that I do much better when I am held accountable by my group. If anyone knows of a group close please let me know. Thanks so much.

I here you Christy,I too am looking for something close,I know where Pleasant Hill is.I used to live in Kingsville,now im in Buckner Mo. Close to Blue Springs. I did hear someone on here said maybe one in kansas city,but i tried the number they gave me and e-mail and no one has answered yet its been 3 weeks and nothing.so im in the same boat,I am post op for a week now.So if you find out anything please let me know thank you. Hi Christy, I don't know how far you want to travel but there is a Support Group that meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Truman Medical Center on 22nd and Charlotte in Kansas City, MO . I was attending this one before surgery but so far their meeting date is on the day I usually have my follow up appointments in Sedalia and with everything I have to do on those Tuesday's I'm usually tired from the drive there and back, picking up my grandson for his functions so I haven't been able to make it back yet, but they have a good group session.
