Golden Corral Meeting

Away at Golden Corral instead of our beds We pulled up our chairs and listened instead The chatter was heard all over the room As people excited from afar were being heard We listened and giggled and called out each name There's Jan and Barbara and Andrew had came The air was full of wonderful smells But to see each other was a site oh so rare We bellied up to the bar for a look or a nibble Some only can have a bite or a dribble The crowd was watching at such a rare site And wondering what on earth has happened tonite But the reason we are hear was easily explained God gave us each other and we give him our praise! We had a wonderful time tonite. Julia

Wow,wished i could of been there,But with me i would of been the guy dribbling lol cause that darn liquid diet thing. Oh well, its well worth it. I was wondering where would i get that card or whatever for a discount and do you guys do that often? I would like to meet everyone as well. Tony

Tony, At the top of the OH page click on store. The cards are listed under support and I think a few other things. Also on your profile there is a place to print off cards with your profile info, but I don't know if these will work as resturant cards. I am sure others will know.Julia

Hey Im home. the cards are given by Dr. Hornbostel when you have your one months checkup and he gives you the go ahead to eat. will post more later. Jan

I'VE NOT BEEN ON MUCH AT ALL LATELY BUT WHEN I SAW THIS I HAD TO POST!!! It's so GREAT that folks from the board are finding ways to get together and support each other!!!!!!! LOVE TO SEE THIS!!!!!! keep it up folks!!!!!! I hope more and more people will be doing this and more often. The support is SUCH a big help to this whole journey, from eating/nutition tips, emotional support, just having that ear of another WLSer is so important to us. And how awsome is it to know that you too can be of help to someone else, being able to lend them some advice if you've been there/done that?? GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!!!!! Tami
