WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

Sunday morning was foggy really bad down here on the lake but it was warm. At 7am it was 60 degrees. Isn't that amazing here on the 17th of December. I had so much fun yesterday getting the guest house ready for guest. Just wi**** was all the way done. So I could really have it looking cute. After Christmas Joe has promised me that we will get to work really on a steady basis to fini**** all up. Then I can think about new furniture or new old furniture anyway. Need end tables of some sort. Anyone have some old ones that they want to get rid of? Oh I like refinishing old furniture too. Lol so if you have something in your garage you think could be ok let me know. Julia: How is your knee? Is it going to be ok to come to Sedalia on Tuesday? I sure hope so. Sounds like you had fun listening to your granddaughter's tales of the dance. Yeah you won't be able to lift your doggie for about 6 weeks after you have surgery you can not lift anything over 5 pounds I think it is. That isn't very much. I like the On protein powder but am thinking about getting some of the unflavored Unjury to mix into soups and stuff. Julia I do great with broccoli and cabbage, Brussels sprouts any of those veggies. I love them. Of course it doesn't take much of them to fill me up. And you are allowed to have them when they tell you that you can add them to your diet. We may think about having a picnic somewhere this summer that will be centrally located so more than just a few can come. Maybe somewhere that has camp sites so some will come and stay over the week end or with cabins to rent... sort of have a short vacation. Barbara S: can't wait to see you on Tuesday too and thanks for the website I will give this to several churches down in this area. There is a small one that this might be something they would be interested in doing and could bring in new members to their church. Andrew: yes working in a nursing home almost has to be a calling to be able to do it and not go crazy. When I worked as a nurse that is all I ever worked doing was with the elderly. That is all I ever wanted to do. I loved the older adults. Always did even when I was a child. Well im afraid you won't see much in the way of flowers right now. But you can see where I have the beds at lol And my greenhouse it is up and going. I am getting ready to start planting seeds right after Christmas and get some things growing. Yeah if you all get to Springfield early enough you can find Food 4 less on Battlefield I think it is. It sits back off the highway in a shopping center. I know what you mean about your spouse losing weight, Joe has lost about 10 or so pounds since I had the surgery because I cook different than I did. Cooking healthier. If I had done this all along maybe I wouldn't have gotten so big either. Lol Hindsight is 20-20 isn't it? Vesta: I have your mums all ready for you too. Thanks for the exchange and thanks for bringing some napkins and plates. Nice of you. Anxious to see you tomorrow night. Sounds like we are going to have quite a few there tomorrow night. Glenna: good to see your face on here this morning. Is this like a supermarket with only good things in it to eat? No sugars etc? Hmm if we get to town soon enough we may try to find that place. Lana: LOL Puppy Chow I don't think I would have eaten that even before surgery. Lol that sounds deadly. I may have to get me some of the unflavored Unjury and try it. I like the ON protein powder but you are sort of limited since you have a flavor in it. Barbara T: If we can all get appointments for that day in June we will see what works out. I'm glad that you had a good church service yesterday. That always fills the sole doesn't it? Nothing like a wonderful uplifting service. Great today is Monday and tonight is our support meeting and get to meet Andrew .Then tomorrow we will all go to Sedalia. Yea and our great meeting after our Dr.s Appointments. Hope everyone that said they would come will be there. Craig please, please if there is anyway at all you can get there please do. I am so looking forward to seeing you again. Anyone that is coming please bring your cameras so we can get some good pictures. I will bring my digital and try to get some to put on my profile for everyone to see. Unless there is a computer in the lobby of the motel I probably won't be online Wednesday morning. Good Morning Misssouri!! Well we're all packed and stuff, were gonna try and leave here by noon, that'll give us a chance to get to springfield by 4pm or so cuz I wanna find the food4less and buy some protein powder and susan needs to find a walmart for a couple things. We're so excited to be able to attend the COF meeting tonight, I know it's gonna be a great time. We also so excited to be Jan's first customers at her bed and breakfast LoL Jan its so sweet of you to let us stay the night. Your a true Angel!! My appt on tuesday with Dr. H is at 1:45, I guess I'll have to leave your place by 9am ?? Looks like its a pretty easy drive straight up 65. The tuesday evening get together is gonna be so much fun, like Jan I sure hope everyone that wants to come gets to, we'll have a great time. Well I gotta get up from here, I wanna go clean my car at the carwash quick, its a filthy mess from all the mud around here lol Hope everyone has a great day. Good morning Jan and Board It is a great morning, cold but still great Yes it was a good Sunday and my spirit has been lifted, it is just sad when you have to alter your plans at Christmas time and I was thinking of the grandbabies, but their parents seem to have them covered regarding gifts. About June 19th, we'll see what happens because things may change, but right now we have to get back to KC right after my appointment to accommodate my grandson's schedule because his mom works at night and sometimes I have to pick him up for different activities he's involved in (grandparent are life savers). Well I have had a bad couple of days! I got up yesterday morning not feeling to well, really queasy in my tummy. I went ahead and went to church but when I got there I started VIOLENTLY throwing up and having diarrhea. Well I wasn't actually throwing up because I had nothing in my belly I was having violent dry heaves!!!! My sister brought me home and I continued the dry heaves and diarrhea all night! Then this morning the throwing up has stopped but the diarrhea is still going on, but I keep slugging down the pepto. For awhile I thought I wouldn't get to come to Sedalia but as of now I think I can make it!!!!! I haven't gotten back my lab or x-ray reports, and yes Jan that x-ray table is a tortue rack! Well I got some things to get done before we leave in the morning, Talk to you all later. Brenda

Hi Jan and all, I will be there the 19th" come hell or high water" I have been battleing a stomach bug the last 2 days. It's not as bad as it could be but bad enough. If I have to I will stand outside the window at Golden Corral and make faces at all of you.My knee is still sore but I can walk slow on it. I have not got my appt. with ortho yet.But if I can wait till after the first I will. I am tired of going to Dr's for a while and I have 2 appt's tommorrow. Julia
