WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY:::::

It's the weekend yea!!! Boy we are having some excitement on the board with surgery dates all over the place. This is an exciting month and next month will be that way too. With surgeries already scheduled for then. Wasn't yesterday beautiful? Oh my go**** was 71 here at my house. I got my lab report yesterday and everything is perfect. So I'm ok lol guess I knew that but just wanted proof of it. Joe went to see his brother yesterday afternoon and he will be home tomorrow. I am by myself tonight and it is lonesome. Debbie M: I am so excited about you finally having your date. It certainly has taken awhile. Was the hang-up that you were waiting for approval from your other insurance company? I bet your husband thought you had flipped out didn't he. I think im jealous everyone talks about Margie meeting them at the hospital for their pre ops and stuff. I saw no one when I went for mine except the hospital staff. Anyway so glad that you have it started and it won't be long till you are on that table. At least you don't have to wait that long till surgery now. LOL about your fingers being excited .well it says January 1 but it really says 12th I just didn't read anything but the pre post and that said 1--- it just cut it off to soon. Lol So you said it right the first time was just me... Almost on my birthday when you are having surgery. My birthday is the 30th.... Sherr: I know about month 3 I was beginning to wonder if I were ever going to be able to eat anything. But somewhere along there it has really gotten better. I don't gag at the thought of stuff going into my mouth anymore anyway. Of course I still can't eat much and seems like I always put way too much on my plate. I use my dessert plates when at home and still can only eat about ½ cup of stuff at a time unless it is soup then I can eat about a cup but it takes a while to do so. Vesta: I have you a nice size start of the mums all dug and ready to bring you on Monday night. Can't wait to see you. Treece: Hi girl! So good to see you again. I know you are getting anxious for the 21st to get here. Only 5 more days wow!! After surgery you will be so busy healing that you wont think about needing something more than liquids for a while anyway. I lived on sugar free popsicles. Great thing to have on hand. I still keep them handy for when I need something for a snack they are great to help get in some fluids. I'm excited for you. Hang in there it will be here before you know it. Lana: time is marching on isn't it my friend? Lana has asked me to be her Angel, I am so happy to do so for her. What an honor. So sorry your back has been giving you fits. Are you taking anything for it? Don't worry about getting enough fluid in after surgery you will get in what you can and just keep pushing yourself to get in more and more. You get to count anything liquid as part of your fluid intake, even popsicles. And like I told Treece those were a life saver to me after surgery. I wouldn't have gotten in hardly anything if it hadn't been for them. I am so excited for your daughter and her son to have their own home too. Isn't it amazing how happy we are when our kids finally get something like that? Yep will see you Monday night. Will be there with Bells on. Andrew: sounds like you had a busy day yesterday with the electric going off and your visit to see about Nursing school and your list of Honey Do's I'm really glad to see that your going to be getting some schooling to go back into the work force. Won't that be wonderful to be able to do that? Can't wait to see you and Susan. I know you will love our meeting. They are really a lot of fun. And get to know each other lots better and lots of good ideas. Also if you have any questions there is bound to be someone there that has went thru the exact same thing. Well we have two beds in fact in the guest house a queen size and a twin size in the little bedroom. That way if you hog the bed Susan will have another one to go too. Lol Just hang on to your pants the 30 pounds is just the start of this weight loss thing. And when have you ever been able to lose what you have in the amount of time that you have and been able to keep it off? Pretty amazing isn't it? Brenda: So when will you find out the results of your x-rays? What were they looking for? Further problems or what? Those tables sure aren't easy to lie on are they? Almost like punishment? Well are the fur babies all clean and pretty for their trip on Tuesday? I get an email from Sky every once in a while but not often. I keep trying to convince her to come and meet us on Tuesday night. She doesn't live far from Sedalia. I hope she comes. I would love to see her again. Benny ,Melissa is suppose to try and get hold of his Aunt to see where he is and how he is doing but so far she hasn't reported anything about it. Barbara T: Oh my gosh aren't you glad the brakes didn't go out on you on your trip? God is good and sure watches over us huh? He must have had several Angels appointed to you surrounding your van that day. Sounds like you are dropping weight very well girl. Keep up the good work. Isn't it great to get down where we haven't been in a long time? Lol I thought you said you didn't go back to Dr. H for six months? But you said your next appointment was January? Did you mean June? Or did I miss something? I'm glad you are thru pouting now.lol I can't see you doing that in the first place. Just not my picture of Barbara. Lol I am so glad that you are back on the board again. Just makes me feel good to know you are there. Well it is suppose to be up to 70 again today. Sure feels like spring doesn't it? But im afraid come Monday it is going to tell what season it is again. Lol I was hoping that it would stay pretty for our trip to Sedalia but it may even be raining on Tuesday when we come back home. Oh well we will have another round of pretty weather again soon. I noticed yesterday that my lilac bushes are trying to bud out. Now don't that just beat it all? Myself I wi**** would just do winter and get it over with. When we have lots of warm weather back and forth it seems like then about the time you think it is spring and want to plant things we have a hard freeze and you cant get into the garden for a couple of weeks again. I just hope this next summer isn't like last one was and so dry and so hot. Made an awful year to grow things. Well I need to get this put on line and probably go back to bed and sleep some more. Geez Jan, three in the morning?.....go to bed!...lol When I went to bed last night the hubby was sawing logs, he doesn't think he has sleep apnea so I got out my little handheld tape recorder and taped him snoring, even got him snoring and gasping where he woke himself up....problem is, I fell asleep while taping him so I might be snoring in the tape too...lol I don't really know what the hang up was Jan, I may never know and at this point I really don't care. I just want this surgery to be over and done and me getting this other person (150lbs) off my back. Don't be jealous Jan, I doubt that I will get to meet Margie their either...things usally work out that way for me. I just pray that Dr. H can be there for me the day I'm scheduled for surgery. Some of my other surgeries have had to be delayed for hours, days and weeks because of something happening the day of my surgery....we are going to think positive and put it in the Lord's hands...it will be in His time! As for my fingers, I'm just glad their working! As for the hubby, he knows I lost it...long ago! Thing is, he still loves me! I remember when I first got depression, I had just seen a Dr for it but it wasn't under control yet, the hubby and I went to Ryan's for lunch, I think I cried most of the way through our meal. The waitress kept giving my hubby the evil eye like he did something wrong which made me cry even more. I think the waitress had even been talking to her boss about trying to get me away from him. Poor hubby, he has been through so much with me! I pray this surgery helps and I can go back to being the me, I use to be or at least close! Mums, mums, mums.....everyone's getting mums...lol I wish I was too but I'm no where close to be able to plant them and thats one thing hubby will not help me with! He was forced, as a child to take care of his mother's garden, carrying 5 gallon buckets out to water it and it was a very big garden and he was a very little boy....really a sad story! He buys me all the equipment and tools that I need for my garden though and he knows when this weight comes off and the back is better that I will be back out there. I haven't gardened in years now. All my lil people (child statues), have weeds growing around their feet instead of flowers. He plans on getting me a shed to put right out back to hold all my stuff so I don't have to walk all the way out to his garage. Doesn't he know that walking is a "good" thing?...lol He is trying to be nice and I can understand because a lot of my stuff is taking up room in his 3 truck stall garage...lol We have 7+ acres with 2 houses (only 1 is livable), 1 garage, 1 barn, 2 ponds and 2 creeks. I use to do everything now I get out and mow (rider) and that's about all that gets done...well not now but when spring gets here. Vesta...I'm so sorry about your granddaughter and her hubby's loss. I will add all of you to my prayer list. Lana...almost there girl....you ready to get skinny again? What about you Treece? What short timers you two are...remember...sip, sip, sip Hello Ruthie, welcome to the Missouri board! Yes, we are famiy here and will answer all the questions and fears you may have. No support? HA!! Good morning Jan and MO Board It is great to be alive and thank God, He saw fit to give me another day I was thinking the same thing about those brakes because I am a highway driver and I don't mess around when it comes to getting where I want to go, my husband just sits back and relax I put on my traveling music and I'm in the zone, we might end up in California if I'm not careful, I love it, my husband does not argue with me anymore he just says here you drive . And Jan silly me my appointment is on June 10th at 1:00 PM. I must have fallen asleep while typing last night Any how I have to run some errands today because after getting the brakes fixed and SPENDING all that money I was not fit for the public so I had to hide indoors until my attitude changed (you have to know your weaknesses) so I wouldn't offend anyone, people beat you up now days or even worse, so I try to keep the peacemaker in me showing I'm praying that Everyone have a blessed weekend, I can hardly wait for tomorrow I missed church last Sunday because the Mothers went to brunch and I got mixed up on the time we were going and had to leave morning service (rats) so I'm longing to be in a good church service. We have Wednesday Bible study but after yesterday I NEED more. Here's a HUG for everybody, God bless you all. Barbara T.

Good Morning Momma Jan & Company! Debbie, I AM SOOOOO glad you got your date honey.....you'll be a LOSER soon enough...hehehe! Barb T....OMG honey, glad you are in one piece. Hey, I don't think you mean your appointment is "JUNE" 10th either...that is a LONG time from now, do you mean January? Heck, this blonde girl is soooo confused....LOL Momma J, my "wendy's like chili" was a HIT...my family ate 7 of the 8 cups that I made, and I was only able to "save" about a cup for myself...lol...we can EAT in my family, let me tell ya...they raved tho, and will all our weird eating habits that is RARE. I can not eat onions or garlic, get violently ill.... Ever recipe I have ever seen calls for one or Both of those ingredients. I am making "Chicken Tortilla Soup" as we speak, I hope is turns out as good as the chili..... I can eat soupy things, mushy things, or "crisp" things like crackers, and that's about it. The only meat that will work is ground meat in soup..... I was able to eat the tiniest bit of rotiserrie chicken the other night at mom's so I took the left over bird and picked the meat off to make this tortilla soup. Our buddy Janet is having a time trying to find things that are filling that are allowed....She's on week #3 of Missouri Bariatrics (Columbia) Plan, and that doesn't leave much...lol...Poor thing.... My BMI is 32, I can't remember when it was that low before...lol...5 years maybe? WOOT WOOT... Have a great Saturday everyone!! Sherr 278/207/170

Hey ya'll Well today wasnt quite as nice as it has been, rainy around here all day , well mostly drizzle but still was a niceee day for a nap Got up at 4am this morning, self respecting chickens dont get up that early I went with em to pick up all the angelfood, boy what a load of food there was. Had a great time as always distributing it. Some of these people really count on this food to get them buy and what a blessing it is to help others. After I got home I took a long needed nap lol Didnt really get anything done today guess I was kinda of lazy lol we all get them days I'm sure. Tomorrow is another day. Claudette my wife and I are so looking forward to being at the group. We have to go to Sedalia on Tuesday so thought we'd make a wide circle and come there on Monday. We so can't wait!!!
