Tuesday the 12th this month is clipping right along and I guess I had better get my butt in gear and go shopping .lol Haven't done anything at all yet as far as presents except bought my secret pal something and mailed it off. Tony I hope you got to have your surgery this morning. I am praying for you just in case. I am so sorry to hear about Alan. Everyone keep him lifted up in prayer. He needs lots of them. We know what God can do for his children so don't let up till he is healed and out of the hospital. I still haven't heard any thing about Benny. Melissa were you able to get hold of him at the phone number you had for him? Where did he live? There in Joplin or was it somewhere else? BarbaraT: wonderful to see you posting on here again. I love it. Wish we could get Linda Smith and Sky back posting again. If anyone doesn't know Barbara, Sky,Linda, Brenda and I all had surgery almost at the same time. Lol within days of each other. Wish you could have had your appointment on the 19th of this month too. Wish you could come to our get to gather on that day in Sedalia. Would be wonderful. We could all compare lol. You are always in my prayers and hope you keep me in yours Rachael: LOL I was just thinking of my poor mother when we were growing up there were 6 of us kids. I was the oldest and when I was 13 she had that 6th one. So that made one 13,11,8, set of twins 4 and a newborn. Don't know how she did it do you? Wouldn't want to have been her. I had 3 and I thought I was worked to death of course I had no help after my youngest one was 2 when I got a divorce. This made me have to work 2 jobs which meant about 3 days a week I worked 16 hours. No wonder im worn out lol I'm glad that you and Melissa are taking care of the Christmas card exchange. When do you al think we will get the list of names? Colette: good to see you so early in the morning. Yes I'm sure that everyone has your friend on their prayer list too. We have so many that are needing to be lifted up before Christ. I am so excited about our get to gether in Sedalia next week. If anyone didn't know about it, it is just a group of us that have appointments that same day getting together for supper and anyone else that doesn't have appointment and wants to come are very, very welcome. We will be meeting at Golden Corral at 6 pm in Sedalia. I have their room reserved for us so we won't be trying to visit in the restaurant. Lol. Oh yes they honor the gastro card too. So anyone that has had surgery will get a discount on their meal. Anxious to see you Colette and Mel. Andrew: Well it looked like it was going to rain all day yesterday but it didn't. Was sort of warm Joe and I spent the day cleaning the flower beds and digging up small little mimosa trees that had sprouted everywhere. Yeah when I go to a buffet I walk down first and see what I want and then put tiny little taste of it on my plate and then by the time I take tiny taste of things I am full and I don't feel deprived either. Lol I have a baby spoon that I should take with me for that lol Your right about the corn. The hulls from the corn doesn't work too well in our tummies. Oh yummy watermelons. I think we can have as much of that as we can eat. That is good because I love the stuff. Cantaloupes too. Tell Susan I can give her loads of the mums. Now they are the old fashion garden mums that you have to keep cut bac****il around the fourth of July. I keep mine cut back to about 6 to 8 inches otherwise they get too tall and leggy and fall over. But they are really pretty when they bloom bright yellow. Vesta: well no wonder you don't have a lot to say. 6 kids probably would shut my mouth too. Lol I didn't know you had 6 kids. Do they all live close to you are they scattered all over. I have one great grand baby already and two more on the way. Wears me out to think of all of the time and people and babies lol. Tracey: good to know that you are busy writing your book. Wish you would be in town till next Monday night. You could come to the Circle of Friends support meeting. It is really good. Would love to have you. I'm sure your book will get finished on time. I bet it isn't the first deadline that you have had to go into seclusion to finish right? Debbie: you sound like my youngest sister. She uses this huge fan in their room all the time to try and drown out by brother in law. He is so loud. It is bad we shared a cabin with them one summer and it was all I could do to sleep and there was a huge bathroom dividing our rooms. All doors were shut and there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom running all night. Whew. Never knew that someone can sleep thru that much noise. Poor sister. Will be praying they can help him with his snoring. Will make your life better want it. Brenda: Yes I too am praying for good weather for us on the 19th and 20th. Hope we have more of the temps we are having this week. I think all the rain yesterday was over in your part of the state. We didn't get any over here. It kept looking like it was going to any minute but it didn't. Our ground is still nice and wet. We were in the flower beds almost all day yesterday digging weeds and such out. Now I'm sore again. Lol We have a lot of people to keep in prayer today. Tony for surgery today, Alan for healing. Colette's friend that is sick, Melissa who is still not felling 100% Debbie's husband for his sleep test. For good weather next Tuesday and Wednesday, So many things and people need our prayers. Hope I didn't forget anything I don't have my list right here in front of me. If I forgot you on here you aren't forgotten in my prayers. I most certainly do have a prayer list and I do pray for you daily until we get a resolution. Love all of you and care for you LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Well, here it is 11:20p.m and I am getting in under the wire. My days are so filled with so much lately. My friend Judy is doing better and came out of ICU today. It has been a long seige for her. Thank you for the prayers. The scale has finally started going down for me too, with 16 pounds to my personal goal. I have already made the docs goal for me. Lately I have not been eating much, and when I do it is protien, veggies and fruit. Have a great day. Colette I have a follow up appointment on the 19th from colonoscopy. I will find out the results of the polyp they removed. I go to warrensburg for that - It will still give me enough time to make it to Sedalia. Colete
