Hi Guys - I know you all have told me (cause I've asked before) but I'm still having trouble finding a Protein Powder that tastes good. I'm pretty sure someone told me to go to Price Chopper and they had some good tasting stuff and not too expensive ... (see I finally found a PC today in Overland Park, while going to my pain mgt dr.) but do you think I could remember what it's called? nope and on top of that I could find ANY Protein powder at all - the pharmacists looked at me like I was from Pluto or further out Needless to say - I'm back on the OH board asking for help again . The only store near me is Walmart and they only carry some sort of weight builders Whey Protein - but no flavors just blaahhhh. I don't know where I left my brain - but if I could get some input I promise to write it all down THEN go looking again. The only one I can remember is Nectar but it's on the web. Come on guys could ya help a brain dead girl one more time ? Thank you one and all. Pat B.

Pat, What a lot of us are using is "Optimum Nutrition" (ON) and we are getting it at "Food-4-Less", not Price Chopper. What I got is the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard....with the black label. Up until I discovered this about 3 months ago from my buddy Claudette, I had been using Isopure since my surgery in 2004. I got the Isopure at GNC. Don't know if this is what you were thinking of, but I've heard several people say they like the "ON". Good luck to you, Glenna

Thanks Glenna & Julia _ I don't have a date yet either, Julia, but I am trying to scout out all the stuff the kind folks on the board have told me. Food for Less - I haven't seen one of those ANYWHERE near me... I looked them up on the net thinking I'd find one - but Springfield was the closest I think, and I don't get down there much at all. Dang it... I wish I could drive again. (I haven't lost my license if you'all are wondering - but I'm on the kind of narcotics that are given to cancer patients... (nasty nast stuff that just barely takes the edge off the pain in my crushed back that I live with) and honestly I Can not Drive safely and I won't put others in jeopardy by trying. Julia, I do appreciate you looking around for me... if you need any of the reading books they mentioned at the seminar, I have 4 I'd be willing to share I have WLS for Dummies, The Real Skinny On WLS and WLS-Finding the Thin Person Hiding inside You! I just got another one from Amazon.com, Living & Eating Well After WLS before & after, I haven't started that one yet but it's supposed to have recipes for WLS folks. Anyway - Thank you both so much for helping me!! Pat B.
