good day everyone

Hi this is Gretta and I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am at work, (I am a substitute teacher) I am working with kids with Autism today so my day is a little *****allenging. I love the kids though so I just try my hardest. Its hard when you arent trained to work with Autistic kids. I think they should have someone more quilified to sub for this teacher, but they dont and I just do the best I can. Last night I was lying in bed and I thought to myself NO WAY GRETTA ARE YOU HAVING THIS SURGERY. Well then I woke up in the middle of the night and ate naughty stuff, so.......... I know I really need to have it done. I so want to be healthy and skinny. I am pretty healthy right now but I know that when I get a little bit older I will start to get some health problems. Well I really did just get on here to say hi and that I hope everyone is having a super day Gretta

Oh Gretta, you are so admired to be working with kids; especially those with autism. I think we all freaked out before surgery. Lucky for me, I didn't have too much time to dwell on it before the liquid diet phase. I turned into a complete basket case the weekend before surgery; so much so that my hubby had to take me on a mini vacation to decompress. By surgery time, I was cool as a cucumber, but then lost it when they couldn't get my IV started. Too many tears for such a happy occasion. Stress does weird things, doesn't it? Hang in there lady, you will be great. ~Diana~

Gretta, Don't you worry your little head off. I will be there for you the day you have surgery. I changed my appt. to 8 something in the morning, so as soon as my appt is over, I'm gonna get together with Julie and we will be there for you until you come out on the loser's side!!! Since I live so far away, I will have to head back as soon as you come through. I will also have my little ones with me. I wish I could be there for all others having surgery with Dr. H. but I just live to far away. Since I have my appt. that day, I will be there with you. Don't let your nerves get to you. There are a lot of people here rootin' for you!! Keep your head up hun!!!

Gretta, You are not alone! Every time I look at food I think what am I doing but I do it anyway. When you have surgery you won't be doing this. Remember the best thing you can do for you family is to take care of yourself. And when Kat and I get thru bugging you , you will be beging for more morphine and a restraining orderThis is going to be your year girl relax and enjoy the rideJust don't get thown off before you get on. Thats funny a restraining order. I laughed out loud in the middle of class and people prob thought I was crazy. Oh well I am crazy so it all fits. Thanks for the kind words Julia and I will be there for you as well Gretta
