WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

Oh my wasn't yesterday a beautiful day? We went and done a little shopping and got a few things for Christmas. Still can't get in the mood to buy Christmas. Don't know why. Someone needs to inject me with a little bit of spirit maybe. Lol And not the kind that Debbie's bird seems to want.lol Is suppose to be a pretty day again today. I hope so I have a huge bed of old fashioned mums that need to be transplanted to a new home and tomorrow will be the day they move. They are taking over the garden where I have them so im giving them their own special place and they can get as large as they want to. If they get too far out of place Joe when he mows can just mow them down. Or if anyone wants some they can have all they want probably. We went to Olive Garden yesterday and ordered the soup and salad ...oh my, that was good. Can't tell you the name of the soup we had but it sure was good. We met my sister there in Branson, she was down shopping. We may have to switch to gas heater in the green house. Wow the electric bill this past month was 246 dollars. Good Grief, can you say poor house. Tony: if you are reading this please respond. We are all wondering if you are still on for surgery on Tuesday. I have written you several emails and haven't gotten an answer. I hope you got your blood pressure straightened out. That would be horrible to have come this far and have to cancel it. I think they could give you something for it when you went in for surgery to bring it down. My brother has uncontrollable high blood pressure and he has to have surgeries all the time. Hope you will let us know how things are. Tressia: how nice to see your smiling face. Well you have past your first month and so how do you feel? How is the weight coming off? Have you had any wow moments yet? Wish you would get on her more often than you do. Is your daughter still living with you? Are they making a move to move out? Lol Sometimes they have to have a little push. Would love to have you call me sometime and if you don't have my number just email me and I will be glad to email it to you. That goes for anyone that would like to have it to call me at times. Debbie M: how are you feeling this morning, any better than yesterday morning? Hope all is well with you. Lol I feel the same way about the name you picked out for the bird. I think it is cute and if they don't like it shame on them. I will keep your son in my prayers. That is one of the hardest things to leave at the Altar isn't it? The cares we have for our children. There is something about mothers and the cares they have for their kids that makes it so hard to let them go when we see them going the wrong way. Claudette: I hate shopping anytime of the year. Did you get your manicures and pedicures? That really sounds nice now. I could go for that really well. I stay up late because I don't have to go to work I guess. Lol and sometimes I have gone to bed early and then wake up in the middle of the night after 3 or 4 hours sleep. Seems I can't sleep more than that at a time. I get so stiff that I can't move if I do. Don't know if that is arthritis, or the fibro, or what but it hurts pretty badly. Oh well at least I wake up that is the main thing. Rachael: Well did you and your son get your Christmas Cards done yesterday? That sounds like a lot of fun to do with your child. All these techno things are really nice but when something happens it isn't easy getting it all back is it. That is the way I have been with my computer this week. I still don't have everyone's email address in that I had before. Never saw Melissa on here yesterday. Did you call her again? Oh Debbie what is the one food I miss the most? It would have to be chips....that and bread. Vesta: I think a lot of the young ones like to push the envelope a little more than us older ladies do. Lol Not saying they do mind you but most of us older ladies know that our bodies wont heal like they use too anyway so we are use to taking care of ourselves. The younguns still have to go and do and aren't use to coddling themselves. So don worry you will be fine. God will take care of you. Barb S: yep you will be able to even eat your buffalo wings later. Spices don't necessarily hurt your new pouch. I put the juice of jalapenos over my refried beans. It is really good, I love it and it doesn't hurt me at all. Glenna: Yeah biscuits and gravy are really good aren't they? I had a corner off of one of my husbands the other day and a dip of gravy. Yummy. Lol Instead of spag, I use the spag squash; it is really good and doesn't have the carbs from being made with flour. Sherr: so you are the typical blonde that all the jokes are about? Wow. Didn't know you existed. The stuck weight will start up again, just keep doing what you are suppose to do and you will be fine. It won't stay for very long. Mine stopped for about a week and now it has restarted. Hope the headache goes away soon. Are you drinking enough water? You may be getting dehydrated. That will cause some severe headaches. Julia: I hope the knee is feeling better. One of mine is trying to act up too. They can really hurt cant they. I hope that I have bought myself a little time by having the wls and by injection of the (rooster shots) into them. They still hurt but nothing like they did before surgery. The day before surgery I could barely walk and had a hard time walking into the hospital that morning. Hope you have a great early Christmas with your kids last night. I hope you had lots of fun. Brenda: wow sounds like you were really busy last night cooking. Use to love to go to the church dinners. So much good food all in one place. Now it just seems sort of like a waste. Do you ever look at others plates at buffets or at these dinners and wonder how in the world you use to eat plates of food like that? It just amazes me. Have you tried some of the carb free, sugar free ice creams they have? It is really good. I guess you could pick the topping off the pizza if you wanted, just don't eat the crust. Yeah I am really looking forward to the 19th it is really going to be neat. As far as I can count at least 20 maybe more will be there. Collette: You are on late too huh. Sounds like you had a really busy day. How is your friend that is in the Hospital? Are they going to be ok? Do we need to add them to our prayer list? Hope you have a good Sunday. Alan: We are continuing to pray for your healing of that leg. Keep up the good work guy. I know it isn't easy to have something like this happen after you had such high hopes of getting to be in the gym soon but hang in there and do everything your suppose to. Eat plenty of protein as that helps you heal and take all your vits. Drink lots of water too. All the things you are suppose to be doing anyway. Do they know what caused you to get the infection? Is it from an outside occurrence? Robin: Im not sure what the problem could be about you not getting anything done. I know that has to be dishearting tho. But hang in there surely it will get better. Kat: I know that had to be scary about the stitch opening up. All is well now tho right? Tammy : good to see you posting . Glad you are healing well and hope to see you on the 18th. Marilyn B: congradulations on the surgery date. That is amazing that it happened that quick. Gretta: the girls slumber party sounded like they all had fun. Glad you survived it. There will probably will be more of them. Lol Well I think I covered everyone. Don't mean to leave anyone out if I did let me know and I will mention you twice tomorrow. Lol ok? Love all of you . Hope your Sunday is blessed and what ever you do today is great. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Good Morning Momma J! I can "sooooo" be that Blonde that all the jokes are about, trust me...lol. It's 35 already this morning, me and the poodles feel like it's a heat wave. Supposed to go with the "parental units" today to Jonesboro, AR (((only town with places to shop)))) Dad is driving and Mom and I are going to set in the back seat and call him "James, the Driver"...lol Talked to Janet C. yesterday, she is doing a bit better. She had a urinary tract infection they didn't catch until after she was released from the hospital, after her surgery. She had potato and was thrilled..... Good Morning! Yes, Jan I feel better, yesterday was just an "odd" day but my blood sugar did jump and I crashed. Hubby came home and found me laying across foot of our bed, sound asleep...he said he knew something was wrong! He said he came in and saw several things started, but nothing finished. He thought I just over did it again. He said when he saw me on the bed, I had the bedroom tv remote, my sugar tester and the phone....he figured it out. My sugar was only 178 but it does take much anymore. Just stress and not eating right, I'd say! Wyno seems to be happy with her name....lol Thank you for your support! I let her out for awhile yesterday, she can't fly (wings trimmed) but boy can she get those little legs going! I tell ya, it's all I can do to keep up! We have mouse traps set so I have to make sure she stays away from them! Hubby says, at least she keeps you moving...like thats a good thing? ...lol As for her drink, you ain't a kidding! I reached in her cage to change her drink (water) and she bit me and that was the first time she has every bit me hard! Hubby laughed and said I screamed like a little girl....I'm like, well yea!! Where are all the guys? Benny, David, Alan, Andrew? Okay, we heard about Alan...Thanks Cards Fan! Jan, to whom do I seen my address to for Christmas cards? Well, we're off to get the grandbabies and to church! Yes, it is a change in plans because they were going to bring them here. It's better that we go get them, that way we don't have to sit around waiting on them....sometimes, they procrastinate! Thanks for the info on the food...glad to know we don't have to give up everything! Everyone have an awesome day!! We will! Love & Prayers, Deb

Hey everyone! Well I was up for early church service today.....took some friends who are looking for a new church. Here at home I've been doing a little laundry and working on another drawing that's a Christmas gift. Taking a little break right now before I go back to take another look at it to try to make some changes.....something just isn't quite right with it. I'm listening to Lisa Lobe right now.....: ) Have always liked her and never had a cd but got one for $1.99 last night! lol Daughter was looking for a Christian cd so of course I had to dig through also. : ) Well, back to work for me. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Tami
