RE-INTRODUCTION

I got in on the reintroductions a little late, so here goes. I'm Patty Nipko, 52, and I had my lap RNY 5/31/05 by Dr. Hornbostel. I have lost 110 pounds so far., from 258 to 148. This summer I had my left knee joint replaced. I got through the surgery great with no complications. I am a special education teacher at Creighton, MO. My husband is retired; together we have 7 kids, 7 gradchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. I have lived in Holden for 14 years. I don't post much, more of a lurker. But I enjoy hearing from everyone. What time is the dinner on the 19th? I just realized that I also have an appointment with Dr. Hornbostel that day, at 4:15. What time is everyone else's appts? Patty

Hi Patty - I'm Patricia B. (also sort of a lurker) I was told the dinner at Golden Corral on the 19th is from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.... I don't have an appointment that day but live close (sorta) so I am hoping my husband will drive me over. (He is retired also and we just moved to Clinton from Hamilton, MO) I don't know anyone down here cept my son and daughter-in-law whom I adore. Hope to meet you at the Golden Corral on Dec 19th, ok? wonderful Patty and Pat I hope we see you that day at the Golden Corral. Brendas appt is around 1 and Andrews is 1 : 45 mine is at 3pm. all three of us are stayinng overnight at the Best Western Motel too because we live quite aways a way. Supper is at 6pm at the Golden Corral and they said we could have the room fromm 6pm till 9 when they close. the room is reserved under my name Jan Cook I really really hope we see you ....Jan

Hi Patty, I'm Debbie or Deb M I live in Harrisonville and we pass Creighton every time we go to Clinton for dinner. We love the little Mexican Rest. behind the Super 8 there. Hubby loves the Chinese Buffet over by walmart...he loves their garlic shrimp and eats himself miserable, everytime! We stay at the Super 8 there quiet a bit. When we eat over there and then go back to the hotel he has to lay down and he bloats up from the garlic....poor guy, looks awful when he does it...you'd think he'd learn. We don't go there much anymore, for his own safety! LOL When we stop in Creighton, we get some souix city(sp?) sasparilla at the station there, right off the highway...yummy! I hope we can make it to Sedalia on the 19th, would be nice to meet all you peeps!
