Hey all My interview with channel 33 in Springfield is on tonight. They did a little promo at 5 and will run the full story at 10pm. It's about my surgery. Jan, to answer your questions about what I do---with writing, I give them proposals and they decide if they want the books. If they do we get a contract. Then we work out the time frame. I have a certain amount of time to get it done--usually about 9 months. It's not like working a 9 to 5 where you have to go every day and have certain days off... I usually work M-F unless I'm close to a deadline then I work 7 days and up to 15 hours a day. I get a full 10 days off this time, but it's my choice to sign as many contracts as I do so it's not them giving me any time off. It's me signing too many contracts and now being obligated to fulfill them. As far as dumping and sugar. I have never gone into this process to become a slave to it. I DO dump if I have too much, but not like a lot of people do with little bits. So I am still learning my limits. I am not an ideal GB patient. I wish I were. But what I do works for me. I'm starting with a trainer soon. Looking forward to that! Hugs all! Tracey Bateman

Excellent interview and story Tracey! I very much like the fact that you were able to convey both the pros and cons related to the surgery. It's not a bed of roses - there are thorns, but worth it in the end....you definitely painted that picture and that is so important for those considering WLS as an option. Thanks for letting us know you were on this evening! Best wishes to you! Cards Fan Springfield, MO
