Thanks be to God, I am headed to the home plate. Has been a long 4 months, I start the liquid diet the 13th. No Xmas dinner for me. That is ok with me though. I am going to see Dr. Shaeffer tomorrow to get a shot in my knee, so I can walk better for a few months. Has any one tried the protien drinks by Arbonne? What are the best tasting brands out there? Glenda

Congradulations Glenda....where are you having your surgery at and by what Doctor? Will be the best Christmas present you ever have had. I like the protein powder that is called "ON" 100% Whey Gold Standard. it is a large jug with a black label.it comes in lots of flavors . Rocky Road, Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry, Cookies and Cream, Tropical Punch, Choc Mint. it desolves really well with using just a shaker if you want to. you can make smoothies with it if you want and is only about 25 dollars a jug. There is an on line website that handles it but i do think you can buy it at most GNC stores now too. In Springfield you can get it at Food 4 Less too . Jan

Hi Glenda! Congratulations on your surgery date. I use ELITE brand protein powder. I'm pretty simplistic in my tastes, so chocolate with some low carb yogurt and skim milk gives me about 32 grams of protein per shake and hardly any carbs. You're in the home stretch!! Tracey

Hi Glenda. Congrats on the date. By the first of the year, you should be home and motivated to start the new year in a smaller bod! No toasting with anything but protein drinks though! I use EAS Carb Protein in Chocolate from Walmart as a prepared shake. It is ok, not great but quick to grab on the go. I have also used Unjury unflavored, chocolate, and vanilla. They are good. You can get them at www.unjury.com. Haven't tried Arbonne, so I am no help there. Lots of luck to you. ~Diana~
