Monday and today we are going to go see how many thousands of dollars we can give away. Have to take the truck to a computer and have it to run their little program on it to see what the check engine light is on for. It is missing a lot. and we cant figure out from what. there are a couple things that it could be that are expensive enough that we will have to go find some money somewhere. may have to cash in something. might be cheaper to get a loan and then pay it off when things turn around in a couple of months. Our heat pump is making a weird noise, dont know what that is. well we looked at it and opened it up and it was ice that had dripped off the house into the blades and frozen making them wobble . cleaned it off and it is fine. thanks God. Everyone be careful out there i almost busted my ,you know what yesterday on some of that ice . I went for my walk and almost froze to death. I guess i need to get me some ear muffs and a scarf to wrap around my neck and nose when it is this cold. Well i heard from my son he says there is several things that are burnt out on my computer so he is going to take it and one he has and build me a different one. Ive had that one for only 3 years and never had a minutes trouble out of it tell it just went blooy... no warning no nothing , just went to turn it on and nothing. I talked to Craig today and he has a new cell phone and gave me the number , said that if any of his old friends on here wanted his number to give it to them. He seems to be doing better. He has talked to another doctor about his trach and i think they are talking to him about removal again. So hopefully . He said he is going to be there on the 19th cause he had lots of hugs to give away. Colette: sounds like you all had a rough trip to KC and back but i guess not as bad as it would have been Sat. morning. Sounds like you had a full and interesting day. anxious to see you again too. Sherr: the only two that i can think of for this month is Tony on the 12 and Lana on the 27th. that is the only ones i have on my calendar. Sounds like your poodles are raring to go south. lol I m glad Janet is home. way to go Janet. Barbara Scott: so glad your hubby is rested up now and ready to go for the next go around. Hope we dont get any more before we go to Sedalia tho. Julia: Yeah managing anything can really be a pain in the pattoot sometimes. I worked and managed residential care facilities for the elderly for quite a few years and while i loved the job the higher ups never seemed to care that much about the place and if it had not been for my husband doing the work would have let things happen to the place that shouldnt have . How many apartments are in the unit you manage? I keep thinking i will go back to nursing but dont know if i want that much stress in my life anymore. It had gotten to me a whole lot before i finally retired but a lot of that could have been because i was dealing with working and then at home had a husband that was still very ill from a wreck and someone really needed to be with him full time and i couldnt be both places at once. I have heard that from other old timers about the snows. If that is so we are going to have a pretty bad winter then arent we. 30 snows this winter. bad bad. Deb M: I hope you are feeling better. I have been holding you up in prayer as i do all of you each time i go to write this postings. I dont understand about your medicare approval is that what you are wanting to find out? That should have already happened. it doesnt take but a couple of weeks to get approved. And since the other insurance that you have is not going to cover any of it dont know why Dr. Hs office hasnt called you with a surgery date. That doesnt make sense. How long has it been since you had your psych eval and has that doctor turned it into Dr. H office? You might want to call Dena and see if they have gotten the thing from psych office and if not give them a nudge to move them forward a little. No i havent heard from David in quite a while. I hope he is doing ok. He has such a bad heart that i wonder about him . That is funny about what your little bird likes in music. I really like her singing too. how about naming her Nonna after Wynonna? that is about the best i can come up with lol. Kat: you are doing fantastic girl. dont worry if you are tired and want to sleep . do what your body wants you to do. You have been thru a major surgery and pushed yourself really hard to be able to get back home the next day like you did. Walk but do it slow and in the house for the next day or so. You are doing fine really you are. It is hard to compare where you are right now to where you will be in a few weeks so relax and your body will tell you when it is ready for more. Concentrate on drinking water and other fluids to keep from getting dehydrated that is the main thing right now. It is hard to tell anything about being full or not full at this point since your new little pouch is raw and new and doesnt have much feeling to it. let it have time to heal it will all get better , dont pu**** to give it something more than what you should , dont push to go to the next food level till you are really ready. Dont drive as long as you are on pain meds. and dont be picking up anything you shouldnt. I guess that is enough Donts. huh. Melissa: hope you are feeling better and will soon be back on here with us. Love you girl. I cant believe that it is already December , wont be long before the new year. wow 2007 i cant believe that . I remember when i was a young girl and thinking about the year 2000 and thinking how old i would be and saying oh well i may not ever live to see that since i will be so so old. lol Things we think when we are young huh? Time is totally different as you get older you know. I think we appreciate it so much more . But i think you appreciate most everything more as you get older too. I know i do. Hope everyone has a great day today and things get back on schedule for you. This snow has gotten everything sort of backed up and crazy. LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Good Morning Momma Jan & Company. My computer shows a temp of 17 outside...Brrrrrrrrrr. Mom and I are going out later on and making a "dollar store" run...Just to have something fun to do...Dollar General, Fred's, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree. Hey, it's a small town, and you jave to invent things to not get bored to death...lol Talked with Janet C. finally, she sounds very weak. She said the drive home, with hitting the ruts in the road from ice, just about killed her...poor thing. I am wondering where Mel Mel is, she should have posted by now. Everyone keep warm, it's bitterly cold. brrrrr XOXO Sherr

HI Jan and all, Been awhile since I popped in. I've discovered I don't really dump and can eat sugar, which is frustrating because I don't have a lot of will power and 'tis the season... I've hired a trainer and will start this week. Looking forward to it. I've lost 106 lbs since surgery last Feb 2. KSPR33 did a story on me the day of surgery and came out a couple of weeks ago for a follow up. The airing had to be postponed during the bad weather, but they hope to show it one night this week at 10pm. well, back to deadline crunch. I;m so looking forward to Dec 15 when I turn in my last book for the year and get 10 days off! Hugs to all Tracey Bateman www.traceybateman.com

Good morning all, What a blistery day it is outside......I made it to work today and wish that I was at home because my son is out of school...and hubby is off.....Believe it or not I got 21 prior service soldiers in and I have to go through all their medical records and make sure they get all their shots, plus I have already given shots to 15 others and I have five alone that will have to get the smallpox after lunch....I am super busy today.... I talked to Melissa Saturday evening for a brief minute and she told me that she was going to ask to go into the local hospital in Joplin because she is not getting off the fluid like she should be....So let's all keep Melissa in our prayers..... I hope everyone is staying warm......I just about froze this weekend....I can remember when I was HUGGGGGEEEEEEEEEE.....I couldn't cool off no matter what time of the year it was and now I freeze non-stop.....My office is very cold right now and I need a pair of gloves......but then I wouldn't be able to type..... I hope everyone has a blessed day..... God bless Rachael Medinger

Thanks everyone!! Prayers worked! Headaches gone!! I came up with a name for the bird...not sure I will keep it though....remember I was trying to find one that has something to do with Wynonna Judd since the parakeet loves her music..I have heard Wy and Nona....well the third one I came up with is Wyno....lol Poor bird!! About this WLS, I'm about to give up...just tired of all the bs...to damn tired to keep trying. I have done everything right, jumped every hoop and then some and I just keep hitting walls! Maybe, it just isn't meant for me, I don't know... Love & Prayers Deb M.
