FRIDAY WHATS HAPPENING. ...........POSTED LATE THURSDAY NIGHT.

well wasnt yesterday something. We had about 4 inches of rain before it then quit and started sleeting and freezing rain. great day lol Melissa is home or at least i hope they got home before it got too awfully bad. horrible day to be out driving in. I cant believe they would dismiss her today in this stuff. but welcome home Melissa. Rest and relax and when you feel like it get on your computer and say Hi. Keep your feet up do all you are suppose to do no more , no less. We have sure missed you. Brenda: I have found that some foods will be ok one time and the next time i eat them my stomach says (oh no you dont) lol so i dont know what the difference is just finicky , i have never been about food before. I would eat anything that didnt eat me first and now im like a picky little 2 year old. I have thrown up lots of times but most of it i think is because of myself. Either not chewing enough, eating too fast or taking that one last bite that i dont need . Who is Karen S. from St. Ann? Im sure i know her and she is more than welcome will she have a guest?Husband with her on the 19th. I have already called Golden Corral and they said to call back when i get a general idea of how many so they can set it up for us all together. I hope you are back home safe and sound now. Kat : is having surgery today. I hope she made it to Sedalia ok.they had horrible driving conditions to go thru. Will be praying for you little one. Andrew: hey there guy those test results are fantastic. wow. like you had never had diabetis huh? isnt that something. You know you have lost an awful lot of weight before you even had the surgery , your body is probably just readjusting itself. you will start again just give it time. I havent had any really big jumps down in weight loss mine has been more or less a steady little decline but so far it is working. You will start again soon and be going full force ahead. Everyone is different and you will lose , it will work on you too. believe me. Yeah no walking for me today so i plugged in my exercise tape in the dvd and worked away. i really need to do it more than i do it really makes me feel good to attempt to do all of that, of course i still cant do all of them but i try. lol Im glad no one can see me doing those things Sherr: have you gotten any of this nasty weather yet. lol about the southern people going for milk and bread runs it is true tho. I get stuff you can eat if the elect shuts off. dont want to be without food for heavens sake. lol Debbie M: lol i laughed myself silly with some of your driving the bus stories. those were so funny. especially the airport one. that was cool. your dogs dont like this weather , mine love it they are outside running and playing and rolling in the stuff. they always do. they hate the summer time. one is a full blooded chow the other is a lab , chow mix. they swim in the lake all winter too,. Sure hope you and hubby will be able to be in Sedalia on the 19th. just got too ok? Glenna: well so far so good on not having to use the guest house. Hopefully we wont . I made the protein balls last night and am going to try the no bake cookies tomorrow if the elect holds out lol the protein balls are really good. and according to my figures in the amount i made each one should have about 10grams of protein in them. not bad for a snack. Any one that wants to meet up with us in Sedalia on Dec 19th at the Golden Corral at 6pm please let me know if you havent already . I have called the GC and they said that when i knew approx. how many to let them know so they could set us up all together somewhere. They said that since that was on a tuesday night that shouldnt be too much trouble. I have got a count of 20 so far so if you want to come just let me know so i can count you in. Anyone is welcome ...lol this is beginning to be like a Christmas party get together. Wish everyone could come maybe this summer we could plan something in that area since that is pretty nearly the middle of the state isnt it? Oh Jan.....if you only knew...lol I drove a city bus for 10 years and have seriously thought about writing a book about it. You would not believe some of the stories! The weather ones are the funniest and the KCI airport run was one of the funniest! As far as the weather, we're buried! lol Snow, snow and more snow! I wish I was young again...I would go play in it! I use to get out with the kids and have a great time! That's one thing I miss about having kids at home...watching them play in it! Jan....my dogs love playing in it but when their ready to come in, their ready! Covered and shivering! They were so cold the pup's teeth were chattering!...lol I had to bring my new lil bird into the main part of the house. I had to take her out of her cage and hold her because she was so cold she was shivering too....lol I didn't know they could do that but she was. She is okay now! Still no name though! Well, I got a not so nice email from my son down in Springfield. More or less, his life, let him live it. I say do it, never tried to stop him. The Lord will take care of the rest! Well, it's official, we got 11 inches of snow here and I'm not sure the hubby will be able to get out to go to work!....cool! Well, I'm off here for awhile...Love & Prayers, Deb M

Good Morning all, I watched Kat and husband drive off this am SLLOOOOOWWWWLY It is so bad. I had snow past my knees! It took 15 minutes for me and my little do to get one building over from my sisters!!!! My poor little dog had to swim in my foot prints the last half because I was so short of breath trying to get home I couldn't carry her. :I pray Kat makes it to hospital this am OK. I have not seen a snow like this in this area since my kids were small and they are 34 and 32 y/o HAHA. I am going to try to get to hospital this am though. My wipers kept icing up last nite getting Kat here and I had to keep stopping due to NO VISIBILITY ohh scarry. It took us 3 times longer just to get from one point to the other. They have a normal 15 to 20 minute drive to hospital but like Kat said they left 3 hours earlier just in case. I hope the OL' farmers are up to their usual and get out to try and get bragging rights on who opened the roads up the first like they usually do.I know a hiway truck had been thru at least once but it is windy and drifting bad. God has definitely intended for this girl to have WLS going thru all this. PLEASE EVERYONE BE CAREFUL!!!!!! Craig I am glad you are feeling better. Hi Patty nice to see you on board. Vesta this should mean you have clear weather for January I think Kat is usuing up all the bad I do know Kat has a wonderful husband to drive in this. ALERT ALERT!!! KAT JUST CALLED AT 5:13 AM SHE IS IN SEDALIA SAFE AND SOUND BUT IS TRYING SLOWLY TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL SHE SAID THEY KEEP GETTING STUCK. LUCKILY THEY HAVE AN SUV. THANK YOU LORD!!! Julia

Kat is in Bothwell waiting for the surgery staff to show up. They live in town she is from down south and she has to wait on them. JULIA

it would be horrible if after all she has gone thru to get there that not enough staff showed up to do the surgery ...omg....woudnt that be horrible. if so they should give it to her free ...

Good Morning MO WLS Family! I think we are the ONLY place in MO that didn't get it toooo bad...again, I can only see what's out my back door...(((which was frozen and I had to "kick it open"))) Everyone else got it BAADDDDD. It's on Headline News and FOX News. I kinda thought Janet would get released later on today, and knowing that MEL MEL had to get out on the roads, it just freaks me out. I hope everyone that has to get out ---gets right back home safely today..... STAY HOME IF YOU CAN! Craig, I am sooooo glad to see that you are feeling better. Good morning everyone, Glad Kat made it ok. Dear Lord God please keep her safe during surgery and guide the surgeons hands. Will be waiting to hear of her safe surgery. It is very bad here. I have been up since 4 am as my son is here from texas and is due to leave from Kansas Internationa airport at 10.25, so we were going to drive him to the airport. Well, he backed out of garage to 10 inches of snow on our drive. Now we live in the country and no blade, and no close neighbors anymore. Guess what the car is stuck in driveway so he backed out the truck and did make it out but called and said the gravel road is deep and my car would not even make it. so he is on his way and traveling at 35 miles per hour as the road including Interstate 70 is all ice. I pray he has a safe trip. He will park our car at airport and we will go up tomorrow to pick it up.(when roads are clear). I will be going to work when it is safe. I called and the whole day shift called off. This is bad as they had to keep nite shift over and take care of residents. But I cant make it in and some of other staff cant make it either. Well, everyone have a nice day and stay inside and look at the beautiful snow. Have a good day. Colette

im jealous all we got is about an ince of snow on top of two inches of ice. it is still pretty but i was wanting about a foot of snow too. Jan

Good morning Missouri..... Well we got blasted last night with the weather....I am sitting here at the house today....My hubby had to go to work early this morning and it took him about 30 minutes for about an 8 minute drive and then the silly neighbors decided they would park half way in the road at the bottom of the hill and he almost took them out this morning....we have a 4 wheel drive and still had a little trouble getting to work...needless to say I called and told work I would not be there because the roads are just too bad where I live....and of course I was not going to put my little girl in jeopardy either...my son stayed at my parents house yet again....hopefully the roads will clear a little bit today and my dad can bring him home to me......we could work on our homemade Christmas cards..... Hope everyone is safe and only go out if you need to.....Hope Melissa and Terry made it home last night.....I prayed all night for them to make it safely...And I am glad that Kat made it to Sedallia....May God guide her surgeons hands today and she will have a speedy recovery.....Welcome to the loser's side Kat...... I got on the scale the other night at my parents and I had lost nine pounds.....I am so glad that the scale is finally moving again....but of course everything I eat for the last week has gone right through me.....maybe my body just needed a good cleaning.....hehe......Everyone be safe God bless Rachael
