Hoping to have surgery

Hey everyone. I am almost done with all the peliminary stuff, doc letter, labs, etc. Waiting for psych eval on the 12th, then off to the surgeon. I am so excited I can't hardly stand it. I am planning on attending some support groups, one I found here in Springfied at ST. Johns, any others around? I was reading about the weather, it's really been rocking and rolling here too! I hope it's not as bad as they think it's going to be. Hope to get to know everyone here soon! Pam

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. I will definately try to get to that group, it's not far from my house. I don't have a surgery date yet, I go the psych eval on the 12th, then once I get those results, send all my paperwork in and wait for an appt. I am going to Dr. De Le Torre in St. Louis at the DePaul weight loss institute. I have a co-worker *****cently had surgery and loved him. I'm excited and nervous. I just wish that someone here in springfield did it, i'm not into the driving. But guess I have to. My insurance doesn't cover anyone near here. As far as the kids in the pic, they are my grandkids, and it's getting harder and harder to keep up with them. I can't wait to have more energy again! Again, thanks for the warm greetings.
