Completed consult today

I completed my consult today with Dr. Hornbostel. I had already seen him previously for my gallbladder surgery and we had talked about the fact that I would be a good candidate for a Roux-en-y. I met Dena for the first time. They would like me to go back to my PCP and have her write a letter of necessity. I don't think I will have a problem with that, we will see. I need to go back to her anyway and do a fasting glucose test because my blood sugars were elevated last visit. So a few more steps and then we can submit for approval. I am reading over my binder from Doc tonight. I also wanted to pick out some cookie recipes to get several batches made up to trade at work, but I always get on the site here and just can't quit reading posts and people's pages. It is so encouraging to see everyone's results. I am convinced that if you use the tool as you are instructed you can not fail. Now mind you I am still pre-op so I'm not saying it is easy. Just that is looks like it works! I can't wait to get a date!
