It's cold here!!

Goodmorning all, I know the weather has trully been Missouri here. Warm, wet, cold, ice, snow all in 12 hours!! It is after midnight and I just came in from putting out de-icing salt on all the sidewalks and patios at my apartment complex. It is supposed to be hired out. YEAH RIGHT!!! try to get some one to do this. My partime paperwork only job has turned into 24/7. I told them I would give them 6 months and that ends this month. After the first of January I am going back to being board and stress free because that is when I am stopping this job. But I couldn't go to sleep thinking these elderly early birds would be out and may fall. I would be sick over that, at least I know I tried to help. But as big a clutz as I am I will probally be the first to go down.OH well after working over 30 years nights I don't know what it is like to sleep at nightI am so much better now that my cold is gone HURRAY!! but i gave it to my sister. She is having surgery the 6th for a muscle biopsy( I have muscular dystrophy, my daughter and her 2 girls also do.) So we are testing my sister for it. We cancelled her pre-op appt. in Columbia for today due to weather so hope we can get there Tuesday and Wednesday to get everything done. My friend Nancy is home and doing better by the day. Thanks to all the angels out there for your prayers I am looking forward to meeting Kat and I am excited about the 19th. I will check to reserve a place for us, just let me know how many. The Golden Corral is about one block east of intersection 65 and 50 hiways.Congrats to all the newbies who have their dates. I am envious.I will try to stay away from the bugs so I can check in on some of you having your surgeries in Sedalia.Everyone take care and be careful. Julia
