Jan and all, The meeting last night was awesome. John is not a sharer but he enjoyed it. Claudette, he thinks you're a live-wire!!! He's right. It is so amazing to see everyone who posts and I cannot believe the degree of caring we have. WLS patients know how blessed they have been and want to share it with everyone. I will talk to Tom soon and find out exactly what time and where Marilyn's services are. He may be back home in Pineville by now. I had my Exercise Physiologist consult this AM and have an appointment at 3 with the rheumatologist and perhaps he'll have some answers for this joint pain. Then Friday I have the NUT consult and then I'm on my way. Spoke to the insurance person this AM and she sounded good. I'm sooooo excited. Alan, I can already see those lost pounds in your face. Way to go. Hugs and love to all. Lana

Hey Jan and MO board, Is everybody ready for the change in weather? Sounds like we could get a good one. I have to say, I had a great time at the COF Support group last night. It was a wonderful meeting. I even learned a couple of new things.....even at 2 1/2 years out, I'm still learning things. Last night was a good night for that. I was so glad to meet the new people. Jan, you really need to get a new picture up on the boards.....you are sooo much smaller than the picture you have now. I know you are working on that though....maybe when you get your computer back from your son. Also Jan, I have to agree with you.....this is what a Support Group should be. I really feel for the ones that talk about not having a good local support group. It is such a help. Vesta, So glad you and Linda could make it again this month. I know she had some concerns and I hope she felt better when she left. Lana, Your husband is right, Claudette is a "live wire". We are so blessed to have her as our leader. I have known her for almost 3 years now, and she is just as caring as she appears....what you see is what you get....very sincere. Tami, you looked great last night....but I know you were tired. Surgery really takes it out of you for a while. Alan, So glad you were able to make it to the meeting too. Bring your wife some time, I'd love to meet her too. Jean, I love the way you word things. You have such a way about you....it's a gift. Andrew, We'll be looking forward to when you will be able to visit us at the COF. To the rest of you.....I'm glad for each and everyone that was there last night. See you at the next meeting. Glenna
