NO NO NO......

I just checked the weather for Thursday and Friday for the Sedalia area and it is supposed to snow on Thursday. This is an unexpected thing and I hope it doesn't get in my way. Jan, I looked up the Bunkhouse on the internet and it looks really nice. Would you think it would be a good idea to change my reservation from Best Western to the Bunkhouse? Is it right on the Hwy? If it is, we would be passing right by it. We are coming up 65 to get to Sedalia. Do you know how long it takes to get from Lincoln to Sedalia? I am nervous about staying far away if it is supposed to snow, but I need to do what ever I can to save some money. It is really, really tight right now and I really can't afford a hotel, but yet, I can't leave the morning of surgery if I need to be at the hospital at 6. Let me know what you think Jan.....

Kat, Lincoln is about a 20 to 30 minute drive from Sedalia. 2 lane part of the way and 4 lane the rest.It would probally depend on how early you would want to get up and like you said the weather conditons. If your family is going to be staying there till you come home take these things into consideration.Best Western has an indoor pool and is close to the hospital and the Bunkhouse has a nicer atmoshere. I don't know what else they have.But ask you husband which he would feel more comfortable driving to and from. Take care my cold is almost gone today. I am looking forward to seeing you.JULIA

Kat the bunkhouse is nicer but like Julia said it is farther away from the hospital. I would take all of those things into consideration. It does take about 20 minutes to get to the hospital from there. My husband stayed there while i was in the hospital but we didnt have a choice on where to stay. it was during the state fair and we were lucky to get a room anywhere. Best western does have an inside pool and hot tub so it would be something to think about this time of year. Take it easy and rest and relax and hopefully it wont amount to much , the snow that is. I am thinking that we might just leave the morning of my surgery, just making sure that there are a few hours included in the driving time in case we run into anything we aren't supposed to. Money is a little tighter than I had hoped and I need to get a few groceries. I am so glad Dr. H. is my dr. I just wish he was a few hours closer!!!

Wow Kat, So close for you, Im soo glad for you,our prayers are out to you hun.I myself live about two hours away comming from Buckner Mo,so i may have to rent out a hotel just to make sure i make it on time lol,Again wish you the best of luck and Godbless
