SUNDAY WHATS HAPPENING
My hubby and I were watching the March of the Penquins last night on the Hallmark channel and they live such a hard and horrible life. Joe , says you know i think i would say, hey wife we are going to move out of this neighborhood. somewhere warmer like the carribean. lol
I would think so too. Their lives are one bad situation after another. And we think we have it bad?? No way could humans survive that sort of mundane , dark, cold.;life like that, Im glad God didnt make us to live that way .
Joe went fishing for a little while yesterday. Was sure hopping for some fresh fish for supper but didnt catch anything.
We didnt do much at all yesterday. I dug up a clump of Chives and sage and mailed them to a friend of mine for her garden. I bet the post office will love smelling that stuff all the way to Ma. lol
We will probably get the rest of the underlayment for the floors in the guest house screwed down today and then seal all the cracks .
Kat: I use to think that way about June Cleaver on leave it to beaver too. lol. always in her heels and pearls.
one of these days that burning the candle at both ends will catch up with you tho. Need to sleep when you can . Especially after surgery you will need to rest.
Claudette:really looking forward to meeting a lot of you monday night. Dont know if my husband will come with me or not but my sister is coming .
It is nice to not be hung up on eating your self to death on a holiday isnt it? Quite the victory.
Yeah you will have to tell me the answer monday night.
Julia: glad you are out of that relationship and not having to be there when you will have the surgery. that isnt needed for sure.
lol on gaining holiday spirit from kids. yeah it is sort of contagious isnt it.
As soon as i get my computer back , i hope by the end of this week i can take a picture and see if i can get it to show up with the lights and all. that is a hard picture to take tho.
Julia and Kat both call your doctors tomorrow and see if there is something you can take to get rid of the crud you have.
Marilyn : we arent remodeling our house but the guest house out back. We already did our house. Yeah the laminate flooring is what we have in our home and i love it. it is the easiest floors you can have as far as care isnt it. and easy to put down too.
Hope you got a lot of shopping done today.
Andrew: take care of yourself and dont overdo.
rest when you can and walk and sip. Your strength will return quickly. It is probably already getting better and better isnt it
You bet anyone on the board is welcome to come visit our guest house or as Andrew said the Cooks Bed and Breakfast. lol
No joke if one of you that lives quite aways from this area wants to come to one of our support meetings then you are welcome to stay in our guest house. (when we get it done) it is almost there now. Hopefully by spring anyway lol
yummy s.f. sweet tator pie that sounds really good.
I dont know about Benny. he is scheduled for surgery the 11th of December and i hope he goes thru with it this time. The last time i talked to him he had lost the weight he needed to lose and said he was concentrating on not gaining it back.I sure hope he goes thru with it this time. He is having a lot of back problems and this will surely help some.
Well I have been to bed and slept about 3 hours and got up and did this. so now i am beginning to get sleepy again and will go ahead and post this before i go back to bed. At least i do go back to bed and sleep quite a while longer.
Joe and I have scheduled to have our picture taken for our Christmas letter and cards this year. I hope it will turn out good. We are debating having our dog in the picture too.
LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS

Good morning Missouri,
"This is the day the Lord has made so let's rejoice and be glad in it."
The board sure has been busy the last couple of days......I hope this post finds everyone doing ok....I still am having a hard time with the passing of Marilyn but I do know that she is in good hands and she will no longer have pain or suffering.....I just keep in my mind that I have yet another angel looking down on me to guide me in the right directions.....
We need to continue to stick to together as a family and keep everyone in our daily prayers because prayers are very important.....
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please touch everyone of us today and keep us in your precious hands filled with glory. For our sister Melissa *****mains in the hospital please place your healing hands on her and her doctors so that they can find the answer and let her come home. Also Father, I ask for favor for those that are getting ready to have the surgery that they may not worry because they should know they are in Your hands and you will keep them safe. Our God is a great God and worthy to be praised. Thank you Lord for all that you do and will continue to do for all of us.....
Amen.
We are a blessed bunch of people and it is so wonderful to have friends "family" that we can all communicate with....
Not much for plans today, just going to work on some house work and chill out....Going to get the Christian radio going on my tv and praise the Lord for a while....
Hubby is at work and son is at a friends house so it is just me and my little girl....She is getting so big these days....already becoming very independent.....she is walking and getting into everything.....but that is ok, because it is keeping me on my toes....It is hard to believe sometimes that she is 9 months old.
Well May God bless each and everyone of you in everything you do today....
God bless
Rachael Medinger
PS I will call Melissa later and give a little update....Tried to call her yesterday but Terry said she was talking on the cell phone so she must have been talking to Jan.....
Good Morning All....Just sitting here, drinking my cup of coffee, watching the squirrels chase each other and enjoying this cool, crisp morning air! No leaves on the trees and everything looks gray but the air smells so fresh!
I have been working hard at getting into the Christmas Spirit. I have always gone all out at Christmas and I don't want this year to be any different! One thing that will be different is there will be another candle to light on the memorial table. I have a candle lit for all the family and friends that we have lost over the years.
Glad to see that everyone is doing good! Anyone hear from Patty and how she's doing?
Thats all for now....Be Safe and God Bless you All...Deb M

Good morning everyone,
Trying to get a post on here before I get busy. It is quiet and everyone is still asleep. Have to leave for church in 1 1/2 hours so they will be up soon. Had a full house for Wed. Thurs, Friday and our son John is here till next Friday. He has business all week in Kansas City so we get to enjoy his company each evening. Not much else except I have to go and tend my flock at the nursing home for 4 hours this afternoon. (they need RN coverage for 4 hours) Soneone is doing the other 4 hours this morning.
Yes, each and everyone please keep up being prayer warriors for all those sick, and especially our Melissa. For each of us, God has a purpose and a special day when he will call us home. That is why we should be prepared daily. Tell your loved ones and your friends that you love them. Tell them that Jesus loves them. And I especially thank each and everyone of you for being my friend. Colette
Sure do wish I could attend that meeting tomorrow nite, maybe someday I can.
Jan,
Good morning,
I know what you mean about the laminate flooring. We don't have any in the house we live in right now, but have had it in the past. I really like it.
We installed it ourselves in the last two houses we had. The installation isn't the hard part.....it's the tearing out of the old floor that we had to do first.
We installed hardwood in our living room, entry, and hallway at the first of the year. That was a job.....we were used to the lamintate that was 1 foot wide sections.....the hardwood was in 3 inch boards. It's a long way across a living room 3 inches at a time. lol
I couldn't have done the floor installation at all before the surgery and weight loss.....no way. All that bending, stooping, crawling, and getting up and down off the floor. Whew!
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night at the Circle of Friends meeting. Hope your hubby can make it too. My hubby always comes with me.....and this is a "hubby/spouse/support person" friendly support group.
See you then.
Glenna
Just a quick hello....
From what Janet C. tells me, the cat scan on Mel Mel hasn't gotten results back yet, so we still don't know anything.
Janet says she thinks both her and Mel will be in the Hospital at the same time, now. Which, I don't know if that is good or bad, since that means Mel would have to be there longer.
Poor Mel.....everyone wish her home soon, won't you?
I am going over to my parents to cook dinner for us all.
Just wanted each of you to know I was thinking of you!
XOXO
Jan and all,
See you tomorrow night at the COF meeting. My DD and GS just left to go back up north but it isn't really sad because they'll be back in less than a month for Christmas. She is going to do most of the Christmas cooking since I'll be on liquid diet at that time. I can still cook, just not taste test!!! I'm so thankful for all of you dear friends. We are truly a blessed bunch, even with our sadness we are united. I sure miss Melissa, can't wait for her to get back on her feet and keyboard. Hugs to all of you and I'll keep you informed of any news from Tom.
Love,
Lana
