I wonder why they didnt tell us to go on B-100 too Brenda. I sure dont remember it if they did do you? well it is another one i will add to my daily thing. I still do have periods of nausea sometimes. but dont know if that is all the B-100 is for. Anyone know of another reason to take it? Jan

Jan, When I was at my pre-op, Marge was in there explaining the need for the B-100. She said since we were not getting as much meat as we should, and the B-100 will help keep out nutrients up. She said that meat offers us a lot of B vitamins. She also said the thiamin will help with the nausea. She told me to go start it that day. The 4 things she told he I had to take after surgery were the B-12 shots, a B-100, calcuim supplements, and the multivitamin. Hope this helps.

Hey Jan, When I started this and at my pre-op appt Margie said they had just started this and like Kat said it replaces some of the vitamin that you get from red meat since we have to stay away from red meat for 6mo or something plus the thiamine really does help with nausea, I have not experienced any nausea since surgery at all and also the B-100 helps with energy it said too. If you still have to crush your pills, put it in some yogart or sf applesauce, its not very good tasting but well worth it. Andrew

I just wanted to throw out here that I've NEVER taken this on it's own. I take a prenatal vitamin and B-12 but I've had my Thiamin levels checked and I'm always normal. Just an FYI.....Is there a REASON I should be taking it if my levels read okay?? I've never been told to take it. Tami

Hey Tami, Dr. Hornbostel has started putting his patience on the B-100 with Thiamine, it suppose to help with nausea and energy plus i believe it has some vitamins that we get from red meat since at the early stage we're not suppose to eat red meat. It really has helped me cuz I havnt experienced any nausea at all since surgery, Im 12 post-op. Hope that helps, Andrew
