Melissa just called me . She sounds so weak and tired but wanted me to post how she is doing and tell all of you that she loves you all so much and thanks for the cards they really cheer her up to see them. She still has a bad infection some where and they cant find where,. She is on 2 iv antibotics and one oral one. They took her down for a cat scan of her lungs and her belly this mornnig to see if there was anything. The doctor took out her j tube and inserted a scope in to see if there was any leakage from her intestines and that was ok so they are at a loss of where the infection is. She said she had a little protein drink yesterday and some broth and jello which was the first she had had to eat since before surgery. She said they arent even talking at all about when she can come home. and Terry said she isnt coming home till they find out what is wrong and get it corrected. She was close to tears in her voice. She said they said something about doing a sleep study too since her o2 levels dip really low at times. She has had 16 pints of blood, and she said her greatest fear is that they would want to do exploratory surgery . that she didnt think she would have the strength to go thru it. Keep praying for her please. please , we cant afford to lose another sweet sister. Jan

Jan, Thank you so much for the update on Melissa. She has continued to be in my prayers. If you talk to her again, tell you we are thinking of her and she is truly missed here on the Missouri Board. Glenna

Maybe we can also send Melissa some flowers guys! Sounds like she could use them! : ( Collection on Monday?? This is awful. I hope and pray the find out soon what the problem is. It's not fun to be stuck in the hospital. AND how scary it must be to not know what the problem is. She's definitely in our prayers. Tami
