Nancy's update

Just got off the phone with Nancy at KU. She is doing better, blockage resovled now has a urinarty tract infection so as soon as they get that cleared up she will be able to go home. She had her open RNY on the 20th.I passed along the info on the B-vitamin with thiamin and she said she was going to talk to them about it.Unfortunately her Dr. is not as thorough about explaining everything she needs to do or not do and eat or not eat.So she is thankfull to all for all the info I am able to pass along. She only has computer access at work. When she is better she is trying to decide which support group close to her to go. I know she is around Lee Summit and Blue Spring area so hope to meet up there at some time for one. I e-mailed Kelli to see how she was doing and told her we missed her on the board so hope to hear from her soon. Will be glad to see Melissa and Patty back when they are better. I got an email from Patty yesterday and she seems to be doing fine. She was concerned about Melissa. Im sure she will be back online when she feels better. Jan
