I just spoke to Tom and services for Marilyn will most likely be on December 16 in St. Louis. He sounds good, holding up quite well. He will contact me as soon as final arrangements are made. He would like to come to Circle of Friends on the 18th if he feels up to it. It would be support for him and maybe closure for all of us. I'll keep you informed. Love to all of you. Lana

How come so long to wait until services for her? does she have family that cant get in till then? I hope Tom can come to the support meeting on the 18th would be a good thing for him and us. Maybe some of us can get together at the meeting this monday night and send some flowers or something to him? Jan

Jan, Tom didn't say why he wanted to wait until the 16th. I don't think he's been home to Arkansas yet. They haven't cremated her body and he's with nieces up near Sedalia until Monday or Tuesday. He needs to get the death certificate so he can go to his union and get the insurance/funeral expenses going. His kids were starting to head home for awhile. He just said he wanted it to be in St. Louis where they lived until 8 or 9 years ago and where their famiy is. He will call me when he has definite plans. Lana
