Hello Claudette and Missouri Board, This is the first time I've been on here since Tuesday. Busy with the holidays, etc. I am so saddened by the news of the loss of Marilyn. My heart goes out to her family and friends that knew and loved her. My prayers are with them. I was so glad that I did get a chance to meet her and Tom at the Circle of Friends Support Group last month. We did have a great Thanksgiving with family. Actually, the family we spent Thanksgiving with is "step family". We lost my Dad in Feb. but we are all very close.....doesn't have to be "blood" to be family. My thoughts are still with Melissa. I hope she is improving daily and will be home soon. Alan:..Hope you are doing good and hope you are able to attend the Circle of Friends Monday night. Claudette: I loved your story about not over eating on all the Thanksgiving food when others around you were too full and having trouble resisting. I can remember eating till I was just miserable every year before the surgery. (actually, didn't have to be a holiday for me to do that....did that all the time) If not for this surgery, I would still be in that same rut. Here's a "thought".....My DH took me shopping on Wednesday for a new jacket. What a different experience shopping for clothes now and before. Big difference. Tami: How you doin? I tried to read through some of the past post that I'd missed for so many days. Sounds like you are doing okay. Hope you can make it Monday night too. I've been thinking about you. Better post this and get busy. DH is waiting on me to do some errands. Take care all, Glenna
