UPDATE ON ME!!
I've gotten a few emails asking how I'm doing so thought I'd put it in a post separate from my RELPIES on other posts so everyone will SEE it. : )
I'm doing great, not without pain and discomfort but that's to be expected. I had the BA and bilateral hip lipo (revision from the LBL in MAY). Hips are black and blue as is the under part of my breasts. I'm told 6 wks till I see the finished product and I have to wear the support garments till then as well. (for hips and chest, fun, fun!) I'm doing good enough that Jim and I went out to dinner last night and Christmas shopping for about 5 hrs! My ONLY issue so far is NO BM!!!! I haven't gone since Tuesday and that's my #1 goal for today! lol I am currently 5 pounds heavier than before this surgery!! hmmmm, wondering how much lighter I'll be after a few good trips to the bathroom! lol I know these new boobs have got to add a little weight too! lol Funny my girls don't see much difference so I hope I'm right in that it'll be ME *****alizes that I have these and NOT everyone else. : ) Thanks to everyone for your well wishes and support.
I'll definitely be at the Circle of Friends support group on Monday. I'll be bringing clothing to give away as well.
oh didnt realize we could bring clothes to give away ....yeah someone bring something i can wear...lol 12/14s Im falling out of stuff. lol I will bring some 18s and 22s if anyone needs anything.
So glad you are feeling well and not in a lot of pain. Im sure that the weight you are talking about a lot of it could be swelling. so hang in there and will see you on Monday. Jan
Tami,
Good to see the update. Thanks for keeping us posted.
Wow, 5 hours of shopping. That's great.
I know what you mean about the bm. The last surgery I had, I had the same problem. I finally went and got some Dulcolax and took that and it did the trick for me.
The 6 weeks seems like a long time to wear the "torture garments".....but this will pass and will be a faded memory before you know it.
You take care of your self.
See you Monday night.
Glenna
