MONDAY WHATS HAPPENING

Good morning , good morning, all you wonderful sweet people . Isnt it nice to have such great friends here? I put in a call to Terry yesterday at 12:30 after reading Sherrs post about Melissa having another spell of blood pressure dropping. I left him a message and ask him to get back to me about it. Wasnt yesterday a pretty day. It was so sunny and bright, cold but beautiful. I dont mind the cold when it is so sunny tho,. I went for a walk this morning when it was so cold and like to froze myself to death. I need some new sweats. I cant find any in the resale shop seems like in a 12/14...i hate to buy brand new ones but i guess i could go ahead and buy a couple pair right now that were actrually too tight on me and by the time the winter was over they would be fitting loose lol. Brenda: so proud of you and your weight loss. that is fantastic. I have as of this morning only lost 53 pounds but have went down in so many sizes. from a 22 down to 12/14 to me that is amazing. Oh was going to ask you if the boy scout camp you all have is on highway 8??? My sister and I went down that highway the other day after visiting a friend of ours and i saw the sign for a boy scout camp. if i had know if it were you'alls i would have stopped. lol Sherr: thanks for all the info you have been giving on Melissa. Any news is better than none you know. even if Janet is an emotional wreck .bless her heart. Hey im proud of you and your weight loss that is fantastic on 59 pounds in less than a month i dont think it is too shabby either. that is more weight than i have lost in 3 months. how are you losing that much in 3 weeks? drink lots of water you dont want to starve yourself into weight loss you know. are you walking alot? Barbara Scott: I will be glad to put your town of Freeman on my push pin travel map. lol yes will let you know about the 19th of December. my and Brendas appointments are both in the afternoon. we will see what Andrew gets or if he can get in on the 19th too. hope so i would like to meet him too. Colette yes more than likely we will be meeting in the afternoon. like i said my appointment is at 3 and i think Brendas is at 1or 1:30 Vesta: i already had your town of west Plains down on my list . you and Marilyn who lives in Mt. Home should be meeting up once in a while. will you be at the meeting this month on the 27th Marilyn B: yes i have one wonderful hubby. He is always doing things to make me happy. He is such a wonderful man. The bike sounds great. Those are nice bikes too. You know i really do feel blessed when i sit and think about all that i have in this world. It sure outweighs what i dont have by a long shot. I thank God daily for my little home, and our place and all that he has given me. I enjoy being a caretaker of his property. He certainly is Good All the time isnt He? Debbie: wow that Harley sounds really pretty. lol we are a bunch of motorcycle mamas arent we? What tube down the throat are you talking about? Being dense like i can be sometimes i dont know what you mean. I guess i should but i dont. lol I dont know what the red freckles on his feet could mean. Hope he finds out. Does his feet stay cold a lot? It wont be long for you neither since you are getting your last step done tomorrow will it? Know that we all will be praying for you and your hubby tomorrow while you both go separate ways to different doctors. Julia. When we decide on a time and place for the 19th of December I will post it on here so everyone can see and if anyone wants to join us they are more than welcome. Putting out the call to several friends that i havent talked to in a while. Sky, Linda Smith, Barbara T., Benny, Pixie, I need you all to check in here once in a while. You know me i worry about everyone. I wonder how you are doing. Benny it iwill soon be time for your surgery too. 3 more weeks. you havent canceled it again have you? I hope not. How is your back? Pamela: see what happens when you dont keep up with us? Sorry about your daughter, she seems awfully young to be having those dark thoughts isnt she? Is there some reason for all of it that you know of? Hope you have good news on the baby part soon. Will be time for Christmas break soon and maybe you can rest some. Betty: was very good to meet you at the meeting too. I am always glad to see someone in person that i have talked to online before . It makes it so much nicer. Yes you did tell me that the Dr. doing the presentation was the one that did your surgery. that is amazing that you lost 30 inches in just that short time. Maybe we will get to meet up again some day. Tell all of your support buddies to get on here too to help give the board a St. Louis flavor. Andrew: so amazing that you are ready to drive back to Sedalia Tuesday to have your one week appointment isnt it? I was a little disappointed i think when i went for mine and hadnt lost what i wanted to lose but Dr. H and all told me that i was doing fine that i still had a lot of IV fluids on my body. Hope you are well pleased with what you have lost. good that you went to church today. That is great. I know you gave God all the Glory . Yeah it isnt easy at first , Im still 3 months out and still cant get all my liquids in in a day unless i really concentrate on it a lot. Yes we certainly will continue to keep Melissa in our prayers. Craig: good to see you buddy. I know that bronchitis can really be a bugger cant it? Have you heard from Benny in a while? His surgery is scheduled for Dec 11th i think. Im so glad that you are going to get the trach out. That is amazing isnt it. Hope everything goes really well with that. I know it is a little scary but God will take you thru it. Lana: Your surgery date is really neat that you get it before the end of the year. We are hoping that Sugars will be in Dec sometime too. We can only hope. She was checking on a motel that is right across the street from DePaul ,she hadnt put in any dates or anything just checking out the hotel and it said the dates of Dec 19th thru the 26th were open and available. She said she took that as that is when she will have her surgery lol I hope so. We will see you on the 27th of this month at the cof meeting. I'm fine and have all those phone calls to make today! Maybe when I talk to Lynn at the resource center for my ins co I will get an idea how long they will take to decide if I qualify. The last time I sent the paper work to them it only was a couple of days before she let me know. Also need to call Stacy to see what she wanted Friday when she called and see if she can tell me anymore about what Dr Burry saw on the MRI. Hey did you find out exactly where the COF meeting is? Gooood Morning Ya'll Wow such a beautiful morning out today, kind of chilly but the sun is shining so purty out there. I'm feelin pretty good today. The last few nights tho I havnt been able to sleep very good. I think it has to do with the fact Im not using my CPAP machine right now. Dr. H doesnt like them being used after surgery for fear of blowing the pouch. I hope I can get back to using it soon tho, at least til I lose enough weight off my neck so I can breathe ok at night when laying down, otherwise I seem to wake up alot gasping for breath, other than that I'm sure feeling good being 6 days post op. Im gonna venture out with the wife this morning and go see the FIL and also weigh myself while I'm at the home *crosses fingers* this way I can see how close the scales there are to Dr. H's. Well I hope everyone has a great Monday!! I'll be going to Sedalia for my one week appt tomorrow and am planning on stopping in to see Huera to see how she is doing. Bless ya's Andrew

Good Morning Fellow Missourians, Well I am home from the hospital, got home last night. It seem I had a hernia, so he had to repair that. I was on a clear liquid for a day, but now I am back to regular. I must be moving more now, cause BOY I AM SORE. Plus the ride back was not to comfortable. At least I can still eat TURKEY on Turkey day, yeah. Sorry I dont get on here much. But I do read almost every day. How is Melissa doing? I havent seen any post on her. Kathleen, WOW, I am glad you are okay....I think I was so overloaded on worry for Melissa, I wasn't paying good enough attention to everyone else. I am sooooo glad you are doing well. !!

Momma Jan: Good to always see you Momma J. I did want to tell you, I am going to be 8 weeks out the friday after Thansgiving, not 3 weeks, you got me mixed up with one of your other "Children" on here. So my weight loss isn't that miraculous after all...lol I am from a 24 size to a 18....So you've dropped a lot more sizes than I have. I went from wearing a mens xxxxl shirt to being able to wear a missy's XL, but still a 18 in jeans, well, I should say, I only have 18s and I am wearing them with a belt...so I don't know really what size I am...lol Love you lady-o Sh
