MELISSA IS OUT OF ICU

I AM TALKING TO HER HUBBY RIGHT NOW. WAS PUT IN HER OWN ROOM A LITTLE EARLIER. THE TUBE CAME OUT OF HER YESTERDAY. I AM TALKING TO HER NOW. I'M CRYING KNOWING SHE OUT OF THAT ICU. SHE SAY'S SHE FEELS LIKE SHE HAS BEEN RUN OVER BY A MACK TRUCK. ALL OUR PRAYERS HELPED. LUV U ALL, PATTY

To let everyone know, Mel had a heartattack after her surgery on Monday, and that is why she crashed.... She has the central line in and required 16 pints of blood during transfusions. She can only bear to eat ice chips. NO FOOD. She said she would be in the hostpital at least another week. AT LEAST..... The ICU nurse even shared with her that she honestly had not thought she'd see Mel come back from the 2nd crash she had...which just makes me ball my eyes out. This ICE Nurse has been very gentle and taking great care of her, and did not say it to make Mel angry or sad, she was just being honest... She has tubes through her nose down into her stomach.... She is out of Critical Care, but she is NOT out of the woods. Please continue to lift her up.

Oh I am so glad she is better, I have been watching for an update, tks for it...tell her we love her and still praying fot speedy recovery.....Vesta
