I have been praying for her and I am glad to here she is doing a little better. Andrew way to go, glad you came through with flying colors. Lana I am so happy for you. Claudette I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support you have been a wonderful friend. Mike I will give you a call tomorrow thank you too for everything also. Tami thanks for stopping by and seeing me. I am so blessed to have you folks, and all the members of the OH board for support. I will post more tomorrow I am a little tired and weak from the ride home. I am doing fine otherwise.
THANK YOU,THANK YOU, THANK YOU ALL Alan
Alan,
I just knew you would be home tonight. I saw Dr. Hodges yesterday and said you were a good friend of mine and he said you were doing great. The prayers have been streaming up to heaven for sure. I've been so concerned for Melissa and so very thrilled for you and Andrew and of course to get my date. I hope you are feeling up to coming to Circle of Friends and bringing your wife. Everyone loves her already. My husband is coming to that meeting to meet the people who are so caring to me. I want him to get to know all of you. Rest up and sip and walk. Guess you got the walker. Talked to Amy Blansit at New Images today and she said she wished she'd known you were waiting for one and you could have used theirs. They finally got the heavy duty one. I am still not quite pain free but am coming off the Prednisone without major relapse so that's encouraging. Feel better and take care. We all love you.
Lana
WooHoo Alan, welcome home bud!!!! I was so proud to hear how well your surgery went when Jan gave me a call after my surgery, then the others that came by to see me said how well you were doing, thats soooooooo awesome!! God is so good!!!

Andrew
Welcome Home Alan! Congratulations on completing another critical step in your journey! It is such an inspiration to see someone with the conviction and optimism you have in meeting the challenges this new life has offer.
I also want to say how impressed I was with the poise you showed during your hospital stay. During my visit with you, it was hard to believe that you'd just gone through major surgery....but I saw the scars so I know you did!
Take this time to relax and heal. One step at a time, one day at a time. Protein, protein, protein...water, water, water...walk, walk, walk. This can seem an overwhelming task, but there's really no need to push on these - just establish a daily schedule where you do just a little at a time throughout the entire day and you'll be successful in getting it all in.
Don't forget, I'm available 24/7...if you need anything, have a question, just want to talk, you've got my numbers!
Once again...WELCOME HOME AND WELCOME TO THE LOSERS BENCH!

PS - Was great to meet your wife...it's encouraging to see those spouses right in there each step of the way...it's clear you're going to have great support there and that's so critical to your success.
ALAN HAS STEPPED OFF THE SIDELINE AND IS IN THE GAME!!!!
