WOO HOO!!!!
Okay, I finally got a chance to get to all of you. My boss missed me lots and then I had appointments!!! The big news is that on Thursday as we were driving down the road to North Carolina my Insurance person called and said she'd gotten the info from New Images and for me to just schedule the surgery before the end of the year!!! Can you say excited? There are changes in my policy starting 1/1/07 so she said she wanted me to get it in on 2006. I immediately called Dr. Hodges office and they scheduled me for Psych and Doctor Hodges today and after those two appointments I am scheduled for December 26!!!! I haven't touched the ground yet. It is a great time for me because school is closed that whole week so I don't even have to use sick time for that week. It means I'll be on liquids for Christmas but that is nothing compared to the present I'll be getting on the 26th, a new life!!! I have to go to an all day seminar on 11/27 I think and I need the NUT consult but the major hurdles are over, the insurance. Dr. Hodges didn't see any problems with Lap RNY for me, said my old GB scar didn't seem to have any hernias or any umbilical hernias so now it's just get these appointments out of the way and GET ER DONE. I will be at the Circle of Friends meeting and John is going to come with me so bring your before and after pictures as he won't be able to believe his eyes. I am sure keeping Melissa in my prayers.
