GETTING CLOSE

Hi to everyone. Well, I have 4 more days until my big day(nov. 20). Getting excited, but nervous, just like everybody else, huh? I would also like to say I too, am praying for melissa. I have never met her in person. But I have pre-opclinic tomorrow, and she wanted me to stop and see her. As soon as I read your all's posts I was so upset. I pray for her. And I know God will take care of her. God bless all of you, patty

Patricia, I bet you are getting excited. Please be careful on the roads. As I write this it is pouring rain and cold and windy. (I hate winter) This is when I want to pack off for Arizona for the winter. The day is getting closer for you - just think your surgery will be done and you will be home for Thanksgiving. If if yuu are on clear liquids, you wont mind as you wont be hungry. You will also be in my prayers. Colette

hi colette, i have been on an all liquid diet since nov. 6th. YUCK!!!!!!! you know, i love winter. and i was just saying to my hubby the other day that i hope it snows while i am in the hospital. i am so hot natured. i hope it changes after surgery. patty

Patty, wishing you the best with your surgery MONDAY. You are almost there girl. What hospital are you having surgery in? Is it Columbia. I will be at the University Hosp. in Columbia on that day with my sister. If it is I will try to check in on you and Melissa. I saw Andrew today, his surgery was yesterday and he is doing great planning on going home today. He and his wife are very sweet people, which all that I have encountered on the Missouri board are. Please know my thoughts and prayers will be with you. JULIA
