good morning ,another Wednesday. yesterday was warm but cloudy here. kept looking like it was going to start raining any moment. We finally got the green house completly hooked up to the elect. A neighbor who is a retired electrician came down to help us. He cant do it anymore since he has a pacemaker but he walked Joe thru it step by step. Joe was scared to death i think lol but it is done now . this payday i will have to get me some grow lights to put in now.I have some of the old fashioned ones that have a bell case on them but i want some of the floresant ones that go into the metal shop lights. they reflect and do more good and dont cost as much in elect. I know i just got back online Monday but i have to go out of town for a couple of days so Thursday and Friday Claudette K. will be doing the whats new post for me. I am thankful that we have so many wonderful people on here that are willing to help out and and so connnected to alll of you. I have to go with my sister to St. Louis. for her seminar and meetings that she has to go too for her surgery. Her insurance demands that the hospital that she uses has to come up to their standards of quality (what ever that may be) and St. Johns hasnt applied to get that certification. I think it is something like the certification that medicare has to have. Anyway St. Louis is where she will be having her surgery. and since she was so supportive and went with me to Sedalia then i need to go to St. louis with her. Who do you all think will win the Dancing with the Stars Show? I am pulling for Mario. he is really a great dancer plus he looks just like one of my grandsons. lol Well Andrew and Alan both came thru with flying colors on their surgeries. Melissa is having some problems from what i understand. Bless her heart. We all need to continue to pray for her. She may be in the hospital for quite some time. i want to tell you all something really funny. the people next door to us have some chickens and one rooster. they let them out into their large garden now that everything has died off and the garden borders on our yard. I have a statue of a rooster and hen and some little chickens in my yard. their silly rooster stands there next to my yard ,looking at the concrete chicken family and just crows and crows lol i guess he is wondering why they dont pay any attention to him. well the next one we have going for surgery is Marilyn A. in sedalia. I know she is getting excited. wont be long now Marilyn. I get so excited for everyone when they are getting ready to have surgery because i know what is going to come for them. It is a really neat thing isnt it? I have never lost weight like this before. Brenda : glad to see your husband is giving him a letter of recomendation. there are some letters on OH to copy from to answer a letter of denial that might help some if his insuranse denies him. Good luck I hope it gets approved for him. Lana: so what is the good news??????????????can i guess???? surgery??? Barbara T: so good to see you online. I know how it is to take care of a sick husband. I did it for several years and still have to keep a close eye on him. dont neglect your own health tho. keep up the work that you are suppose to do. glad that he is getting his sence of humor back that usually means they are getting well. Claudette: thanks a million for doing this for me for a couple of days. I really appreciate it. Yeah i cant tell the difference in the sugar free stuff and the sugared stuff. My husband says he can but if it isnt told to him he doesnt know it unless he sees me taking a bite then he knows lol Friends that we make on here are so precious and important in our daily life , i cant imagine not having all of you in my life now. Colette: happy first anniversary . you have done so well and such an inspiration to me that i am going to try and go back to work as a nurse too. dont know if i will be able to work as much as you do but may start off as part time and see. did you go see Andrew? Vesta: it wont be long till your surgery date. just keep busy and the days will fly by, you know at our age they go by pretty fast anyway. lol i know you will do well.. since we are almost the same age i have no doubts about it. Since we dont really know the outcome of Melissas hospital stay yet just want to remind everyone that they need to continue to pray for her PLEASE. I know her family and her OH family will all join me in holding her up before God . Craig : where are you? LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS JAN

Hi Collette, Andrew said I just missed you by about 10 min. Tues. night. Andrew also said your picture doesn't do you justice and that you are much better looking in person. I stayed over in Eldon at my niece's house after my pre-op testing Mon. so I could meet Andrew and go to their support group meeting. That's the third different meeting I have been to now. First I went to St. John's New Beginnings, then Circle of Friends and now Sedalia. I don't have a support group around here so I will try to go to Springfield when I can or Sedalia if I'm in the neighborhood. Well, my surgery is coming up fast and I still have a lot to do. After my surgery my nieces have it all figured out for me to stay at their house until after my one week checkup so we don't have to drive so much. They are so good to me. Well, I'm out of here. Good Morning, Missouri Board! Glad to hear Andrew and Alan made it thru surgery and both are doing fine. Now we will pray for their recovery. I'm sorry to hear that Melissa is still having problems. I will continue to lift her up in my prayers. I hope she knows how much we all love and care about her! She is such a sweetheart! I had a Bunco Party last night. It's the first time I actually hosted one and all of us women had a great time. I know my husband and boys are glad it's over because did I really make them help clean this house. At least it is really clean - upstairs and downstairs. I'd like to keep it this way so that when/if I have my surgery after the first of the year I won't have to worry about cleaning the house. I do need to make sure all my "legal" stuff is in order. I bought a Suzy Orman Kit from QVC. I need to open it and look thru it. I've got to update our will and make sure I have all my legal ducks in a row. I don't plan on leaving this world anytime soon, but never know when the Lord could call me home, and since I have 2 children still at home I need to make sure everything is in order. Plus my husband has no idea who our insurance companies are for our life insurance, the kids life insurance, homeowners or automobiles. I've told him numerous times but he can never remember. The kit I bought from QVC has a blue folder and a place to put all your policies, as well as companies addresses and phone numbers. That will be my next major project. Today is my Birthday. I only mention that because this time of year always gets me to thinking about my life. I guess it's even more so this year because I am seeking wls and all the changes it will bring into my life. The Lord has blessed me with a great husband, our two boys and my two stepchildren as well as a very cute 18 month old grandson. I have a pretty comfortable life and yet it seems I'm always worried about finances, health, how the kids are doing, etc. Now I'm worrying about whether I've made the right decision to have wls. ( I still haven't heard from my insurance company. As of last week they had not received any information or so they said.) I'm going to make a commitment to myself and my Lord that I will start giving all my worries to Him on daily basis. I'm going to ask Him to carry me thru each day and guide my life. I know He does not intend for any of us to worry and He longs for us to give our troubles to Him. I just need to do it on a daily basis. Well, I guess I'll step off my soapbox for now. lol I hope everyone has a great Wednesday. May the Lord bless each and everyone of you today and always! Debbie D.

Deb, Happy Happy Birthday Girlfriend...I hope today is a great day for you. Sherr p.s. not to sound like a pessimist, but I wrote a "Living Will" in 1999 when I had to have brain surgery, and I make sure that it's updated. Smart Lady you are... 29 years old isn't it? :D

Sherr, Just been wanting to reply to one of your posts and say that you sound like you are feeling much better yourself. Glad to see that. And thanks for always taking the time to be so kind to everyone on here. That is what makes the Missouri Net so great. Just wanted to tell you I appreciate you and all the people on here. Colette
