Thank you for all your prayers

Thank you for all your prayers. His PCP said he would write him a letter! He doesn't really understand that much about WLS. He said he couldn't write that it would cure his diabetes, he will write that he has uncontrolled diabetes. So we don't know what the letter will say. He is going to mail it to us when he has finished it, so we will see. The ins. company is United Healthcare. They told me when I called that it would not cover WLS for obesity. They said to get our doctor to write a letter of medical necessity for the surgery and send it in and that it would probably get denied and we would have to appeal. After we get the letter we will make an appointment with the surgeon. He is on PPO ins. and the only WLS surgeon that is on the list that they cover is John Eagon in St. Louis. Has anyone had him for your surgery? Thanks again Brenda
