I am 4 months and 1 day post op and had a wow moment this morning when I stepped on the scale. The scale told me this morning that I am down to 299 pounds. I know that still seems like alot, but it is 109 pounds lost since surgery and 127 pounds lost since I first met the surgeon on May 5. This is the first time that I've been below 300 in probably 25 years or more. This has been an awesome and positive experience. I'm so pleased!!! Scott

Scott, Congratulations to you! This is definitely a milestone to celebrate! We started out in the same neighborhood weight wise - each time I hit a milestone falling below 300 (Excellent)...then below 250 (Incredible)...then surgeons goal weight (Amazing)...then below 200 (Are you $#%'ing kidding me!!!)....then....well, you get the picture. It IS an awesome and positive experience...while I've worked harder at this than anything I've worked at in my life, the rewards are overwhelming and so worth it. Good job Scott! Celebrate your success - then set your sights on the next goal and GO FOR IT!!! Come visit the Men's Board too....like the Missouri Board there's soooo many great people to share your experiences with and to get and give support to along the way! CONGRADULATIONS SCOTT. Way to go. It does feel good to know that you are so much lighter and feeling better. You should reward yourself with a day doing something you like to do, that you havent done in years, (besides eating, lol) Keep up the good work Kathleen
