I'm a 15 month post op & was wondering can we take spulina? It's a natural herb. The cost of the bariatric vit. is getting high , and along with the pritein drink I was thinking of cutting down on the cost. I currently take the bariatric vit that my nut suggested. The spurlina has all the vit a person needs plus B12. I will continue with the B12 that I take and the protein drinks also. I've been on a platuea now for 2 months. But If this is all I lose thats OK, because I've lost 150. I'm down to 158. I know that 20 plus is probably excess skin. But I was curious about the spurlina.

hmmm, I've not heard of that but what comes to mind is that we need calcium in the form of calcium citrate. would you be getting that with this product? And you need iron(or maybe you don't, depending on whether you still have a monthly cycle) and if you do need iron, it's supposed to be taken at a different time than the calcium to obsorb properly. Myself, I take a prenatal vitamin, 3 calcium citrates, b-12 (2 times a week), and then the oils(flax) and stool softeners. I'd just want to be VERY sure that that product you metioned has the EXTRA things we need post-op. I'll be interested to hear if it does! : ) Tami
