Goood Morning Everyone: Can you believe the weather the last couple of days??? And they say that today is suppose to be even warmer (maybe a record high for this time of year). Crazey I tell ya crazey. No wonder people are sick if it is going to get cold. I just wi**** would get cold and stay that way. Well I got my 3 pies done yesterday. Turkey is ready to go in the oven I am just preheating it now. Dressing is all ready to go along with the Green Bean Casserole. All I have to do today is my Mashed Potatoes, Gravey, Biscuts & home made noodles. I have made plenty anyone ready for an early Thanksgiving Dinner??? Barbara: I am so glad to hear that DH is getting back to his old self. I know that it is a releaf off of your mind. Diana: I hope you and DH have a wonderful time in Branson this weeknd!!!! Lana: You will be missed while you are gone. We will all be praying for travlers mercy while your gone. Sherr: I am sorry I saw that I missed your call. I will give you a call today. Heck even better just hop into your truck and get to Joplin and you can eat with us. But only the things that are on your list. Dont want you Tami: Useing someone else's recepie doesnt bother that bad. I come from a long line of great cooks. Otherwise I would of never got this fat. lol I enjoy cooking for people very much. I think I might of missed my calling. I hope you have a good day today. Andrew: Your F-I-L will be in my thoughts and prayers today. So how did you like the Biggest Loser last night??? I was so scared that Marty was the one that was going to get voted off. But then when Heather gained I was so mad expecially at Eric for siding with Kia and getting rid of Bobby. And the way that Adrian was acting was frustrating too. Yes, I know I really get into this show. And I have yet to not cry at the end when they show the change in them. lol Alan: I am so sorry to hear that you went thro what you did. We all will be praying for you and your decision on WLS. But please let me tell you Dr. S did my surgery and when I started out I was 498lbs. I had to lose down to 450lbs then we did the surgery. Please dont let one doctors stupidy and bad bedside manner set your mind for all doctors cause they are not all like him. Plus PLEASE dont ever be afraid to speak up and tell them NO if need be. I think sometimes doctors seem to think that because we are larger that we will be totally grateful that they even took the time to see us. There for will put up with anything. Dont be afraid of useing your voice to be heard!!!! Tony: So glad to see you back and posting. I hope the information I sent you was what you needed. Craig: Vacation?? I am so glad to see that your feeling so much better. How do you like being able to drive again?? I am happy that your going back to school. WAY 2 GO!!!! David: We havent heard from you in awhile. How are you and your family doing?? Benny: Where are you at???? Did you totally forget about us here on the board??? Jan: I will be glad when your computer is fixed. We sure do miss your smileing face here on the board. Well I am getting ready to put my turkey into the oven. Let my baby out (doggie) and get my meds & drink ready to start my day. I pray you all have a blessed day. Take care and enjoy this beatiful day!!!! God Bless Melissa ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just say what you mean!!!!! A very proper lady began planning a week's camping vacation for her and her Baptist Church group. She wrote to a campground for reservations. She wanted to make sure that the campground was fully equipped and modern, but couldn't bring herself to write the word "toilet" in her letter. So, she decided on the old-fashioned term "Bathroom Commode" Once written down she still was not comfortable. Finally she decided on the abbreviation "B.C." and wrote, "does your campground have its own "B.C.?" When the campground owner received the letter, he couldn't figure out what she meant by "B.C." He showed it to several of the campers, one of whom suggested the lady was obviously referring to a Baptist Church since there was a letterhead on the paper which referred to a Baptist Church. So he sent this reply: Dear Madam: The B.C. is located nine miles from the campground in a beautiful grove of trees. I admit it is quite a distance if you are in the habit of going regularly. No doubt you will be pleased to know that it will seat 350 people at one time, and it is open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday of each week. Some folks like to take their lunch and make a day of it. The acoustics are very good, so everyone can hear even the quietest passages. It may interest you to know that my daughter met her husband there. We are also having a fund-raiser to purchase new seats, as the old ones have holes in them. Unfortunately my wife is ill and has not been able to attend regularly. It's been a good six months since she last went. It pains her very much not to be able to go more often. As we grow older, it seems to be more of an effort, especially in cold weather. Perhaps I could accompany you the first time you go, sit with you, and introduce you to all the other folks who will be there.

Never too late to have a new career if you feel you missed your calling! Who know's you could be the NEXT GREAT CHEF on the Food Network!! : ) Sound like you'd be great! I'm not so great. I just bought a crockpot cookbook though and plan to make some winter meals with those recipes.....bet my family won't eat half of them though! sooooo picky! : ) I emailed one of our local radio stations last week as they had a discussion on BA's and when I tried calling I couldn't get through. I got an email from them this morning that they read it on air! I'd talked about having had WLS and needing to get filled back in, not BIGGER just a "fill-up"!! lol Wish I'd heard it and wonder if it got any respnses from other callers. Anyone else hear it? : ) Have a great day everyone!!! Tami

Hi all. Thanks to all who have responded and emailed places for Branson. We are staying at the Grand Victorian in the King bed, jacuzzi room. Man, I can't wait. I am taking lots of Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path bubble bath and body lotion just in case...well you know why. We are taking off early Friday morning going to Carthage to the Precious Moments place and Bass Pro Shop and then to Branson. Cross your fingers, DH and I need to reconnect on this trip. Today I am back to doing just my job. Boring!!! I was told by the Manager and Vice President that I have done an outstanding job filling in for two people gone and still doing my job too. So, I asked for a raise since it has been 18 months since I have receive one. Well, no definitive answer either way-cross your fingers for that too. I am just going to "Ditto" Melissa's post from above. Melissa, you take care of yourself for the upcoming surgery. I will be saying a prayer for you. ~Diana~
