Update and question, need replies

Hi all. Update and questions for yu... Hubby had decided that we will take a long weekend mini vacation...what the Heck??? I am looking for the names of places you liked to stay at and shows you liked in Branson. I have tried calling 4 places we have stayed at in the past, and they are booked for Friday night. Ick, maybe we have waited too long??? ~Diana~

Diana, My husband and I used to live in Branson, so I can't tell you anything about the motels....since we lived there we never stayed in any motels. A couple of our favorite shows are "The Pierce Arrow Show" and the "Paul Harris Show". The "Baldknobbers" are also good. I always enjoyed the IMAX too. Actually, I've never seen a bad show in Branson.....there are a lot of good ones. Let us know what you end up seeing and I hope you have a wonderful time. Glenna

Diana... When DH and I go to Branson (even on the quickie spur of the moment trips) we usually stay at the Clarion. You can usually find discount coupons for the Clarion in one of those travel coupon booklet things that you find at gas stations. It is a bit more expensive but the accomodations are so nice. They have an indoor pool/sauna/whirlpool. We just really like it alot... I would also check out the Branson Landing... OODLES OF FUN... and Silver Dollar City Christmas Festival.
