I just dont have any brain activity at that time in the morning. lol I pray you all have a blessed day and remember to VOTE!!!!! God Bless Melissa New version of Jesus Loves Me JESUS LOVES ME Jesus loves me, this I know, Though my hair is white as snow. Though my sight is growing dim, Still He bids me trust in Him. (CHORUS) YES, JESUS LOVES ME. YES, JESUS LOVES ME... YES, JESUS LOVES ME FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO. Though my steps are oh, so slow, With my hand in His I'll go On through life, let come what may, He'll be there to lead the way. (CHORUS) Though I am no longer young, I have much which He's begun. Let me serve Ch! rist with a smile, Go with others the extra mile. (CHORUS) When the nights are dark and long, In my heart He puts a song. Telling me in words so clear, "Have no fear, for I am near." (CHORUS) When my work on earth is done, And life's victories have been won. He will take me home above, Then I'll understand His love (CHORUS) I love Jesus, does He know? Have I ever told Him so? Jesus loves to hear me say, That I love Him every day.

Melissa, this question doesn't pretain to surgery, but how long does it take you to get from Joplin to Columbia? I am going to be making a trip to Joplin and was trying to figure how long it will be. Appreciate your response. Thanks Kathleen Oh and good luck next week, then you will be on the Losing side.

Kathleen It take us from 4 1/2 to 5 hour to get from Joplin to Columbia. Do you have family or friends that live in Joplin???? Thanks for the luck on next weeks surgery but it isnt for the losers bench. I have been on it for 6 months now. This is for a hernia repair. Thanks Melissa

Good AFTERNOON Missouri Board! Melissa, thank you for doing the daily post that Jan usually does. I understand completely about posting it the night before. I read your post early this morning but my brain hadn't woke up yet! lol! By the way, I loved that Jesus Loves Me rendition. I have never seen that one before! You will be in my prayers on your upcoming hernia repair surgery. When will Jan get her computer fixed? We miss her! I too hope everyone exercises their privilege to vote. I know I'm getting ready to go do so here in about an hour! We have some important issues locally so I'm going to make sure my ballot counts! I hope everyone has a GREAT afternoon. Take Care, Debbie D.

Mellisa, wishing you the best with surgery. And thank you so much for the letter and poem about Jesus, It really brightens the day. My 2 oldest granddaughters had birthdays this last weekend ,plus school stuff so I was tired and busy all weekend! Sorry I didn't write but I did LURK.I haven't heard from Kelli in a few days, I have miss-placed her number. I do know she was feeling under the weather when she was scheduled to go home. So keep the prayers up for her. I am excited and anxious for the seminar tonite. I have my psych eval and cardio eval already completed so waiting for the next step. I have a friend who contacted me on the board who knows me and my family from school days ( now thats a long time ago!!!) She is having surgery at KU on the 14th, her name is Nancy so keep her in our prayers. She e-mailed me because she saw my address and when she did I realized who she was and we have been keeping in touch daily. Both our mothers had weight problems than contributed to their passing, so we are trying to make a positive change for ourselves. Hi Vesta, It is count down time , I know you are excited. Andrew you almost have your bottom on the bench!! and to all others I have you in my heart and thoughts. JULIA

Heya Everyone, Well we finally made it back from Sedalia tonight, got back around 5ish or so. Everything went so well at Pre-Op today. The surgical staff is so nice and helpful. The started a new procedure today of working things out, seeing the anethesiologist(sp), dietican etc. Instead of it taking nearly 3 hours to complete everything it only took me just under 2 hours, it was great. So far all my test were great and things are all set for 6am Nov. 14th. When she weighed me today I was grinding my teeth and praying I made the cut *they require you to be no more then 450lbs* I started out at 515lbs back in February and when I saw Dr. Hornbostel for my consult I was 482lbs. Well today I step on the scale...shut my eyes and prayed hard....Maggie the nurse says..."Well your....get this....445lbs"....WOOT WOOT!!! I was so happy and proud of myself. So now everything is a go for next week. I just can't believe it's coming so quick. I'm busy the next couple days with the wifes father, he's having some tests run tomorrow and thursday so we'll be down there with him at the hospital. Friday I gotta couple things to get done in Farmington then Saturday the wife has me getting all the christmas decorations outta the shed since I wont be able to lift the boxes after surgery. Sunday is church then Monday its off to Sedalia for Surgery on Tuesday LOL So this week will prolly fly by lol. Well anyway, Im sittin here so tired, its a 4 1/2 hr drive one way. Hope everyone has a good night. Bless ya Andrew P.S. Julia my big bottom will soon be on that bench just a shrinking away LOL
