I'm officially on my way to the loser's side

I got my surgery date yesterday. My surgery will be on November 17th. I can't believe it is only 2 weeks away. I would greatly appreciate your prayers and support. I am so scared, but yet so excited at the same time.

Congragulations on getting your surgery date. It will be here and over with before you know it. Are you having RNY or lapband? I had my lapband surgery done 2 months ago by dr de la Torre. He's an excellent doctor. I also live in St Peters. Have you been to any of the support group meetings yet?

Sherry, I haven't been to any support meetings yet, but plan on going on the 15th. It conflicts with my daughter's PSR class...but I will some how manage to work around it. I am having the RNY. Thanks so much ladies...I really need the prayers and good wishes. Once I am past the surgery part, I know it will all be ok. Gosh the surgery is so scary...but I have complete faith in my Doctor and in God so It WILL be ok.! I apprecate you all thank you!

This is GREAT news Barb! Just know that we love you and can't wait until you are a LOSER like US Please make sure someone keeps us posted.... Do you have an Angel? If not there are some GREAT one's here that can be your angel ((((WLS OH Contact person)))) and really help you.... You should pick someone that is a GREAT SUCCESS STORY!
