Kelli Update

Kelli is now one of the newest members of the LOSER'S BENCH!!!!! I just got off the phone with her Mother. She stated that Kelli was ICU just for the night. And that is was doing good. Sore and groggy as expected but doing good. I will speak with Kelli on Friday and then will post to let everyone know how she is doing. And when she thinks she will be going home. Thanks for all the prayers that were sent her way. God Bless Melissa

Hi, I spent the day with Kelli. She is doing really good. She is in ICU because she had a late surgery and recovery was closing.She was talking and laughing with me tonite. She was up moving and sitting in the chair. She said "Julie, I can't believe I'm finally on the losers bench! All the people on the forum are just wonderful.I can't believe I have all this support!" I will see her tommorrow and spend more time with her. I had never met her till today and from the first moment it felt like we had known each other for years. I am so proud of her and her progress.Will let you know more tommorrow. Julia:bye:

Julia, That's wonderful how you to have teamed up and support each other! That connection is pretty amazing huh?! It's like that with alot of WLS friendships, there's just so much we all understand about where we've been, the struggles past and present.....it's comforting to know you have an understanding ear in each other. I encourage everyone on this board to support each other with hospital visits, phone calls, emails, etc.........the support makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE! Both, if you are the one GIVING the support, or receiving it cause the giver benefits as much or more! (rambling, sorry!) It's a never ending "Circle" Love to see this sort of thing develope here!!!
