Claudette,
I also know that there are some that think we have "issues" if we are talking about food when we are this far out from surgery.
I have to totally disagree with that. Sharing food ideas and recipes has nothing to do with "issues" for me.
For me, I'm like you. It is a really big help to me. Finding healthy recipes and ideas that keep my diet interesting is one of the things that helps me stay on track. It's part of my success.
As a matter of fact, I was on the recipe board of OH Sunday night and copied several down. I have tried 2 of them and they were great.
One was for a egg salad recipe and one was a snack idea. The egg salad recipe was so good I had it yesterday and even had it for lunch again today!
I'm always open to check out a new recipe or a food tip from a fellow post-op.
Glenna
Claudette,
You are such an inspirational WLS speaker....
If we are all adults, and have our own Brain, I can't imagine that we'd suddenly lose it, and start eating the house down again....But that is just me....If a person went thru all this and ends up in a dangerous spot, they having bigger issues that a few friends sharing good, tried and tasty recipes could cause additiona harm....
For me, I am having the hardest time finding tasteful things.....You keep on singing your own beautiful song, and those "haters" can put a sock in it....LOL
lol.....I'd love your recipes..... ****Sticks tongue out at haters*****

Thanks for all you do...
