LOST MY POST!

my computer froze Tues morning as I had written a post and it diappeared and I had no time to write it over! : ( I've been busy too so just now getting a chance to try again! I wanted to say a THANK YOU to all who were at our meeting. So many drove from out of town and that was great! Hope you'll be able to come often!!! So good to meet everyone in person and as Glenna said, to see old faces again! I wanted to throw out there that if anyone needs more support between meetings, reach out on here or in email and maybe folks can even get together outside of gorups. It's amazing what having other WLS friends in your life can do for you on this journey. Keeps you motivated and enegized and ready to conquer!!! We all need a boost now and then and sometimes we need it from other WLSers in addition to what our loved ones give us. Sometimes we can get discouraged over a plateau as one person in our group brought up......don't be worried you'll be judged when you hit a rough patch, you're among friends! We've all been there. Whether it is a plateau or you ate something that made you dump, etc.....it's okay and we'll support you! We don't get cured with this surgery....it's not a quick fix.....we are still EATERS and always will have some struggles to overcome. Don't be so hard on yourself and just reach out as I'm sure I'm nto the only one here who likes to share what works for me. And sometimes, certain things quit working and I have to find a new way and I get those tips from fellow WLS friends. Have a grrrrrrrrreat journey everyone!!!! Hugs, Tami
