Wednesday Whats Happening

Wednesday again? I guess so. We have been trying to figure out how to install the polycarbonate panels onto the green house yesterday. Now they are saying rain and wind for the next 3 days. Lol Hopefully we will get this built soon. You think? We have to go pick up the cedar boards tomorrow and the clear coat to put on them. Wow the meeting last night sounds like it was wonderful , wish I could have been there . I hopefully will be at the next one about 15 pounds lighter. Lol I am still trying to figure out how to get my profile transferred to the new profile lol don't think I will get it done any time soon. Maybe I can find someone that will do it for me . That would be nice. Sky: hello girl glad to see you on here. Thanks for the joke that was cute. Are you still walking every morning? What mornings I don't go walking I do an exercise tape in the living room and it isn't easy. I think I am losing weight very slowly but I guess we all lose at our own rate. Claudette: thanks so much in understanding why I wasn't there on Monday night. That is very sweet of you. I know I was looking forward to meeting all of you. Melissa: watch those mice , they start trying to come in this time of year , they want out of the cold too. Sorry you didn't get to the meeting too. They say it was really a great meeting. Good luck with the surgery and hope all works out for that. So sorry to hear that about your mother. Just remember we all have her lifted up in prayers. Remember they are all you have. Lol Andrew: you need to go by your psychologist office and see them in person if you cant get a phone call from them. Or something it will take awhile to get the visit and it will take awhile to get him to write up a report too. Most of them don't get in any hurry. Need today to really pu**** I know God is in control but that slow poke may not want to do what God wants lol I know you will be more than ready to get off disability when you can. It will happen . You have just almost 3 weeks left to live life as you are now. So hang on. But do push the psych doc some today. Go camp out on his door step if necessary. Lol I wish Dr. H would arrange that in with the date you do the pre ops there is time in that day to do it. Good Morning Everyone: Yes, I know I am up early even for me. But I just couldnt sleep any longer. For the last 3 or 4 days I have been waking up around 7/7:30am. For me thats early I am more of a hoot owl then an early bird. DH left to go get his father again. He is taken him to the hospital first for X-rays & bloodwork. Then back over to the DMV to take his test again. He took it 2 times yesterday and didnt pass either time. Needless to say he wasnt a very happy camper. I felt so bad for him cause he is so darn indepentant. But also relieved to a point that he wont be behind the wheel of a car either. Okay now I need everyone thoughts: At the DMV if you fail your written test you can retake it as many time in 1 day as needed in order to pass. Do you think that is right?? Sorry if I offended anyone but I think that okay 2 testing in 1 day but to let them do it all day long is wrong. Becuse evendentuallythey will end up guessing it right. They show them the questions they get wrong. How many different test to you really think they have?? Okay I am off of my soap box. How about them CARDS!!!!! WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!! Mighty fine game last night. That was for Kevin Yesterday was my 6 month anniversay It is almost hard to believe that just 6 short months ago I couldnt walk without oxygen. I am so very blessed & thankful to God for opening all the doors that he did for me in order to have this surgery. I personally feel like after all that he did for me to have this surgery. It would almost be like a slap in the face not to everything on my part to follow EXACTLEY what the doctor tell me to do. And to you all also your prayers and encourgement is what has taken me thro some of my most tempting days when I wanted something sweet or fatting. You all mean the world to me and I'm so happy to have been directed to this board. Friday is my DH birthday!!!! Dont know what were going to do for sure. Gotta go get his gift picked up and his card later today. Whenever he comes home with the car. lol I hope you all have a good day. Stay out of the rain dont need to be getting sick now. Melissa, congrats on 6 mos girl!!!! It's just going to keep getting more unbelievalbe as time goes on, trust me! It's not all a cake-walk(bad term on here huh?) but it's worth it!! Keep up the good work and hope to see you at a Circle of Friends meeting soon! Tami

Jan, Not many people on the board today so figured it was a good time to post. Yes, the meeting was great. I'm sorry you missed me. That's what my DH always says but he really means it. Anyway, I won't be there next month because I will still be in Sedalia for my i week appt. I'm down to 26 days and counting. The time is going pretty fast and most of the time I'm glad but once in a while I start getting nervous and a little scared. Did you feel that before your surgery, maybe there is another way? I have a fear of being put under anesthetic. The last two surgeries I've had I did it under local anesthesia, including my double knee replacement. That was kind of strange listening to the doctor ask for screwdrivers and saws and stuff but not feeling a thing. Don't mind me, I'm just rambling. Later, Huera

Another late post... My mom came over today and helped me put out my Mums, and we ordered Daddy some things for his xmas online....((((my mom is internet-phobic))))) LOL Then, the raaaiiiinnnn started......GOOD LORD....It has been raining all day, and now, into the night.... Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour Between Sunday night and Sunday Morning...IT's FALL BACK TIME....
